John Wayne Gacy had a difficult relationship with his father. He did many things to seek his approval, which was not forthcoming. #johnwaynegacy #gacy #pogotheclown #thekillerclown #serialkiller #chicago #lethalinjection #deathsentence https://www.instagram.com/p/B66OXqvpB45/?igshid=1ccxkuvdofpd3

As the show begins at the 🎪Circus of Horrors🎪, out comes the clown... Portrayed on the small screen by Tim Curry (1990) & on the big by Bill Skarsgård (2017), It is the shape-shifting, child-snatching embodiment of his victim's fears, often appearing in the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Created by Stephen King for his 1986 novel, 'It', Pennywise is the frequent subject of coulrophobia. Unlike the very real John Wayne Gacy, (aka The Killer Clown or Pogo the Clown, 1942-1994) who serially murdered and raped male victims of Illinois, USA, during the 1970s, all three adaptations of 'It' firmly exist as fiction, but are terrifying nonetheless. 📸: [Top] Tim Curry in 'It' (miniseries, dir. Jervis was in a poor mood. He wanted to be happy, he really did. He had tried several different things that would usually make himself happy, including tea, reading and a good dose of hallucinogens, but all that created was a rather bad trip.
So he wandered slowly through the Gotham streets, mumbling to himself and twitching his hands. This was not a Hatter to be trifled with.

The Dogs of War (CLOSED TO THE BROTHERHOOD)
[This is for all Brotherhood members. The reply listing is in the tags.]
Joker sat with all of them. Freeze, Croc, Ivy, Oswald, Vine, Luthor, and Harvey. They sat deep within the huge toy factory complex outside of Gotham. Lex had a map of the entire city. Schematics, Liberation movements, Traffic light timings, he had everything. Therefore, Joker decided that it was time to discuss what their next move was, who to bring into the group, and what actions should be taken.
"So many friends here." Joker said, smiling. "Not really you." He said, pointing at Penguin, "Or you." He said, pointing to Vine. "But we all can't have what we want." Clapping his hands together, he leaned forward in his chair and placed his hands on the circular table.
"Now! I suggest we all start discussing....EXPANSION! New members, new locations, new bases, new plans, new new NEW NEW NEW! So lets start the floor to discuss!" Joker kicked his feet up onto the table, smiling at Lex and Harvey laughing. "Listen to me! I sound almost sane!" He said, widening his eyes to look even more crazy as he smiled.

The Joker | Batwoman | Work Full Night
When darkness falls over Gotham, it's the same old thing for Bethany. Since she was the guardian of such a violent city, her job was this: Fight crime and keep thugs off the streets. It was a nightly routine that surprisingly never bored her.
The masked vigilante was perched on top of a factory building. She had received some information on the Joker's whereabouts. Of course the Clown was up to no good. He never is and especially with Bethany, he was always a big hassle. Her main focus was on the alley to the right of the old worn down factory. Bethany let out a soft easy sigh as she prepared herself to grapple down. Her right hand rested on her yellow utility belt, on the handle of the grappling gun. The other hand rested on the edge of the roof. She moved around causing her leather suit to make a slight squeak sound as she settled to a more comfortable position.
Now.. to play the waiting game.

"So what is the point of this anyway? What are you trying to achieve? You do realize my husband is a soldier. He'd win in a fight, no matter how crazy you are."

Reunited
[Closed for the-christmas-clown]
Harley sat in the driver's seat of her large while van, her foot flooring the gas pedal and hands firmly gripping the steering wheel. She had been out looking for The Joker, her precious "Mistah J" for hours again tonight, like so many nights before. Ever since she arrived back in Gotham a week ago, she had searched the streets without end to find him. He was the only man she ever loved and ever would love; she wouldn't stop until she found him, dead or alive.
She tried to remember places he might be: their old hideout, their old apartment, his favorite bar? But every trip left her empty-handed and more depressed and anxious than before. Remember the locations was hard after three years, but she had just found the address of their old apartment an hour ago. There was hope of finding him again.
As she pulled into the snow-covered parking lot of the rundown apartment complex, memories came back to her, like old pictures seen after years in a box. Harley and Joker sitting on the couch eating dinner together... the young couple holding hands as they watched their henchmen loading cash into the old van... long nights spent interrogating captured vigilantes... those were the days! And she longed to see them again.
Harley hopped out of the van, leaving her bazooka behind this time around, and walked toward the door. She turned the old, squeaky handle and pushed it open, then walked up the stairs to the third floor, stopping in front of apartment number seven. This was it. Harley knocked three times on the door and waited for an answer. "Hello?" she called.
No answer. Stricken with sadness and a sinking feeling in her gut, she turned to leave. Maybe her searching was in vain. Maybe he was in prison. Maybe he was in Arkham. Maybe he was dead. Harley looked up from the ground and stopped dead in her tracks. There was a dark figure ten feet in front of her whose face was masked by shadows. "Who's there?" she asked.

Lily moved quickly down the sidewalk, dodging people (mostly successfully) on her roller skates. People were not very happy when you ran over their feet, but it made for a nice bump! Although it probably wasn't very wise to be rattling her brain so much... Or moving so quickly. Or maybe that was just the 2CI talking.
She could hear the spray paint rattling in her bag, calling to her. Dammit, why must it be sunny? Why are you awake? The sun's gonna get you! She threw her hands up over her head, looking around. The sun's gonna kill you!A quick turn, a few more bumps and she was down an alley.
"Perfect" she smiled, resting against a wall that probably shouldn't have been rested against. They're coming for you. Her eyes popped open. "Wha-?"
