i sat in one at the charlotte auto show over a decade ago and thought it was one of the coolest new cars there. it’s a shame honda stopped making it, i thought it was a really cool little car that was very in the spirit of some of the little low powered but lightweight go-kart like cars coming out of japan in the 80s and 90s, like the cr-x that car was paying homage to. kinda jealous you have one, they’re pretty rare to come across these days! the rare occasion i see one it puts a big smile on my face

This is like if australia had Queensland and then right next door Queensland 2. Like, to be clear, if someone says "north Queensland" that just implies that they're talking about the northern part of the state, so y'all understand my confusion right? 😂

disarmingly honest statements of care. @srijellyfishtempura once simply said the words 'i care about you', and i nearly cried because it was so straightforward and kind.

when we scoop up my dog and carry her occasionally, there's a household tradition of calling her the 'baby jesus' in this position. and i can confirm that the baby jesus is extremely cute, especially when she's also wrapped in a towel

tiny weird mixing details in music. the way the 'she will not let you go' and the 'this time i'm not coming back' in 'With Teeth' (NIN) are panned ever so slightly on opposite sides, but so subtly that you can barely tell until you've listened fifty times. the fact that 'Immaterial' (SOPHIE) does not have a kick drum, but sounds like it does. the 'i'm in a box' sound of slap delay, and how it makes 90s acoustic songs sound like 70s music (especially with Tori Amos and Alice in Chains). the distortion that comes in ever so briefly in 'Waiting for the Night' (Depeche Mode)

Favourite Colour: Definitely purple, although I've started using green a lot more.

Currently Reading: A lot. There's some webcomics: Sleepless Domain, Ghost Junk Sickness, Kill Six Billion Demons, Paranatural, MIS, Soul Beacon of the Netherworld, Beach Wizard, etc.

And some manga: Franken Fran, Chainsaw Man, Hana Ni Arashi, YuriOta, Dungeon Meshi, etc.

Last Series: I finished reading Otherside Picnic volume 8 this morning, very good! Worm and Ward also have irreversibly changed me.

Sweet, Savoury or Spicy?: Typically savoury. Sweet can be fun too. Not a fan of spice because I'm weak.

Currently Working on: University stuff, mostly. I have some side hustles when it comes to writing but most of my time is spent on uni work or FFXIV.

I've been really into the Celeste soundtrack lately! It's wonderful ambient music and is very well made, but it's also a bit melancholy at times. Still very worth it tho (made me buy the game lol)

Other than that, for just a song, I recommend Cosmo Funk by Snail's House. Can't explain why but it's been my fave lately lol

I dunno what genre this is but I love the energy!

As for celeste, I have the soundtrack including b-sides, so I absolutely know how amazing it is
