January 2015 we were almost 3 years into trying to have a baby when we found out we were pregnant. Instant joy seem to erase all the tears and heartache. March 2015 we lost our first baby...something I would never wish upon anyone, ever. All the hurt and pain just seemed to be dumped right back on us even worse than before. I was crushed...I was angry with God...I hated him. I blamed him for his. Reflecting back on this time in my life I know that God didn’t do this to us, in fact he was right there with us. Just because we knew who God was doesn’t exclude us from bad things that happen here on earth, he never promised it would be easy but he did promise to love us through it. These heart wrenching experiences have only made us stronger and we truly appreciate the gift of a child in way we couldn’t before. Fast forward to now this picture speaks volume to me that just 3 years ago I didn’t know if I would ever see this day...and here we are, a family of 4. My hearts desire has been fulfilled and I love being a father to our 2 beautiful girls.
