ah, yes, taash doesnt Get It TM because the evil qun has poisoned their mind…… nevermind that this could have been a perfect opportunity to connect the two (even if taash does feel differently than flynn). it’s not the fact that they’re just sheltered in general and new to all of this. and apparently have no friends(?) and all their peers treat them like a child despite them being an accomplished dragon hunter. it’s just always the qun's fault. why the fuck would flynn say that
