It's writing-angsty-queer-DND-character-backstories hours.
#i will not get to play most of these characters probably but oh is it fun to write them#i have a genderqueer dwarf who became an adventurer as an excuse to reinvent themself because their society is so steeped in tradition#they didn't feel like it was acceptable to challenge it by being open about their gender#they would rather leave their entire life behind - note than loss of one's clan is devastating to a dwarf - than risk being rejected for wh#they really are or keep pretending to be someone they're not#also. dwarf names are hugely significant and given to them by their clans. but this character dropped theirs like a hot potato and made up#a new one they gave to themself#their name is dheval and i have Feelings about them#hylian rambles#dnd
