matsukawa issei (26) funeral home employee starts visiting the library regularly, but only on wednesdays after dark when they’re open late. he always wears all black and generally broods about between shelves and smells vaguely of candle wax and formaldehyde. he checks out exclusively old dead people poetry and nonfiction books on burial rites and the histories of obscure civilizations. he knows bafflingly little about animal identification and always take a receipt for when his books are due. he is a shameless flirt he always returns things on time he shows up like clockwork and hanamaki is Always the one that checks out his books for him.

hiro watches him like a fucking HAWK he’s so intriguing there’s obviously something up he’s a little too good looking something is off. hiro squints purses his lips hums he’s blatantly suspicious he just hasn’t put the pieces together yet. also those eyebags are working for him. one day hiro wears a twilight shirt to work issei compliments it and it fucking clicks. hiro freezes stares he SWEARS he sees eyes flash red he can smell the bloodthirst he looks for fangs when he opens his mouth it was so obvious how did he not put the pieces together before!!!!! he Immediately looks up water guns on amazon and googles “holy water near me” he hot glues popsicle sticks together to make a crucifix and starts carrying garlic powder in his bag. he hasn’t decided if he wants to slay or seduce matsukawa yet but decides he’s better safe than sorry.
