Just saying...

Ngayon ko lang nabasa yung full post nung controversial na 12 y/o about UST & UP. Just a message for her.

A message to theindifferentmasochist:

Primarily, everyone has the freedom of speech. However, I think that yours became disproportionate, and you became too insensitive to the people involved, especially the students studying in the institutions you pass judgment on. You are now given the impression of being tactless, for you have not exhibited professionalism and consideration. There are no people you call “bobo”, for each one of us is given intellect and will by God. Before you make judgment to others, kindly take a look at yourself first.

What I have just said is primarily based on your means of your expression, not pertaining to your whole persona.

I have a high regard of your candor expressing your opinions. It is hard to put across your outlooks about something, noted that there will be criticisms after your statement. You are quite bold, fearless. You are special in a way that you have that unparalleled audacity which not everyone has. However, as Mark Twain implied, “too much of anything is bad”. All of us are not perfect, but there is always room for change. Whatever causes your revulsion, remember to pray. Hope you’d be enlightened somehow. God bless.

Okay. So Opinions are Opinions. I know that. But what you did was a tad bit harsh.

OKAYYY. SO YEA. I SAW THE POST OF "theindifferentmasochist" that people kept ranting about both in twitter, tumblr and facebook.

Honestly. I think, her opinion was  tad bit harsh. but we cant blame her. that's how she views that school. That was her honest opinion. and I wont argue with a kid. seriously, if you guys know that deep inside, UST isnt that kind of school, or UP, then dont argue anymore. because arguing with her is just useless. like she said, she'll stand by her words. She is a brave kid.

Well moving on, UST, UP and CSB are great schools. I have respect for every university here in the Philippines. And I for one, would be mad if I came from or if Im studying in any of these schools, then hear bad words about it. But for a second I thought, "Oh. The way she speaks just make herself a laughing stock of the entire net." The way she speaks define what kind of upbringing she came from. and from what I can see her parents or guardians didn't do a good job.

Everyone has the freedom of speech. I understand if some of you are furious about what she said. But lets not forget, Saying bad words, or cursing her so publicly in blogs or posts doesnt make you a hero or a good person. I know everyone has their comments. I wont be making this post if I have none.

BUT LET ME BE CLEAR. I AM NOT SIDING WITH HER OR WITH ANYBODY. This is just solely an Idea. Comments are freely accepted, so just whisk away.

Mas mabuti na yung bobo kaysa walang modo. Unfortunately, you're both. And UST isn't a Catholic church. It's an effin' Catholic University that has quality education and can produce board topnotchers. Get your facts straight before talking shit about it.

Ate, tumigil ka nalang po kasi. Magsorry ka nalang diba? Okay magbigay ng opinyon, oo okay 'yun pero grabe ung mga sinabi mo. Aminin mo nalang sana pagkakamali mo, huwag na magmatigas, kaya kinakalaban ka na ng lahat kasi ang pride mo pa, sana maintindihan mo sila dahil nagkamali ka din. Huwag ka na din po mag mayabang kasi po kahit ano sabihin mo, nagkamali ka at grabe ka magsabi ng "bobo" tapos kung makapanglait ka, kala mo kagandahan ka pero sorry po hindi ka naman maganda.

Ok, 'nuff said. 

Ms. Medici (if that's your real name), you have caused a lot of commotion this week. Not only have you insulted the good name of UST by calling the students who study here (plus the freshies who'll enter the hallowed Arch of the Centuries) "BOBO", but also you have called our brothers and sisters from UP and DLSU insulting names. 

I admire your courage and in-your-face attitude, but that doesn't mean you can bash us people with those insulting and hurtful words. For a thirteen year old (if that is your real age), you have a lot of guts to insult us students and the administrators and faculty who worked at the universities you've just bashed recently.

I don't plan on giving a shit about you theindifferentmasochist/themaladroitmasochist because if I stoop down to your level, I might end up getting embarrased and crap. But hey, since you practiced "freedom of speech" in a delightfully insulting way, let me give you a dose of your own medicine:

Tawag mo sa mga taga-USTe ay bobo? well, bobo ka rin. Hindi mo alam mga pinagsasabi mo pero ayun, nagsalita ka parin ng nakakainsultong salita sa amin. E sa mga nabasa ko sa iyong blog e may misconception ka sa aming unibersidad. HINDI SIMBAHAN ANG USTE, ISA IYONG UNIBERSIDAD! heto pa.. kung magss-cite ka ng current news, mag research ka naman, kahit sa spelling man lang... si CJ Renato Corona ay Summa Cum Laude, hindi suma cum laude.. See? Dun pa lang sa dalawang yun, mas nagmumukha ka pang BOBO kesa samin... And to think you use complicated words in the English language as names for your blogs...

Now, about you stating that "UP is for worthless people", e tarantado ka pala eh... parang tinawag mo rin ang mga magulang ng mga mag-aaral ng UP na walang kwenta...  E kung tawagin ko mga magulang mo na walang kwenta dahil pinalaki ka nila sa isang "kapaligiran na puno ng malasakit at pagmamahal" only to end up with you being a bitch and an attention whore at the same time... hindi ka kaya masasaktan? Siguro mas masasaktan ka rin kung tawagin ko ring bobo mga magulang mo... Oh, 'nga pala, diba sinabi mo rin na "pera-perahan din sa UP?" First off, UP is a semi-private, STATE UNIVERSITY... sure, dahil sa mabilis na pagbabago ng panahon, may involvement na rin ang pera para pumasok sa paaralang iyon (well, that's according to my mother...) pero, para sabihin mong pera-perahan dun? TANG'NA MO! UTAK, TIYAGA AT PAGSISIKAP ANG KAILANGAN PARA MAKAPASOK KA SA UP! UPCAT pa lang kailangan mo nang magsunog ng kilay, it's common knowledge na gumagamit sila ng "right-minus-wrong" system dun... (UPians, am i right? cuz if not, I humbly apologize for not researching this well...)

And you're saying that you're 12/13 years old? SUUUURE, bata ka pa, but that doesn't mean you could post such comments with such indignity and disrespect to others. You're age is not a reason on why we should take you lightly, considering the "grave" offence you did to the thousands of university students lurking in the internet.

Sinasabi mong OPINYON ang mga posts mo? SCREW YOU! Oo, ang Pilipinas ay isang malayang, demokratikong bansa. Ang internet ay isang malayang kapaligiran kung saan pwedeng sabihin ng milyong-milyong tao ang kanilang saloobin... Oo, opinyon nga ang inilagay mo sa blog mo... Oo, nagagamit mo ang isang benepisyo ng demokrasya - ang kalayaan ng malayang pananalita. Pero, kung mamalabisin mo ang paggamit mo ng kalayaang yan, ng walang pag-aalinlangan, marami kang masasaktan... matuto ka naman na ilagay sa tama ang mga sinasabi mo... dahil pagdating ng araw, hindi lang hate mail ang matatanggap mo...

Suicidal ka? Wag mong idahilan yan, LETCHE KA! Hindi dahilan ang pagiging suicidal mo para magsabi ka ng ganyan sa aming mga mag-aaral sa kolehiyo. Hindi ka makakahanap ng simpatiya sa mga makakabasa ng blog mo na puno ng masasamang alegasyon tungkol sa mga unibersidad na ininsulto mo, lalo na't sila-slia rin ang makakabasa nun... Baka nga udyokin kapa nila na magpakamatay na... 

So there, I've said what I have in my mind for the past 3 days... I'll be expecting more from this scandal.. 

(NOTE: Just like what she did, I have exercised my freedom to express my opinion about what she did... Although I used some cuss words, I just poured out what's in my mind, complete with the cuss words and the like... So please, excuse my apparent rudeness, but when it comes to her, I won't apologize to what I said...and why? I'd like to reiterate what she said in one of her blog posts: no matter what you people say, I won't take them back.")

Chill na lang tayo guys! This girl is just a fame whore.. Frustrated lang siguro siya sa college na papasukan niya kaya siya nagkakaganyan! 

Sa sobrang pagka frustrate niya nawala na sa isip niya na ang UST ay isang catholic school at hindi simbahan.

UST, CSB at ngayon UP naman ang sinisiraan niya... =)) wala, wala akong masabi.. actually natatawa na lang ako..

Kahit naman sabihin natin na BLOG at OPINION niya yan.. sana man lang nag-isip muna siya ng konti.. yung magiging epekto non sa lahat at pati na din sa kanya..

Ngayon, nakakaawang isipin na hindi na masyadong nag babase yung mga tao sa post na ginawa niya.. kundi sa physical appearance na niya.. maski ako hindi naman sa nagmamaganda pero di ko mapigilang tumawa. ganon na nga itsura niya, masama pa ugali niya..

maging considerate naman sana siya sa feelings ng iba :) sana marealize niya lahat ng sinasabi niya.. alam ko hindi magmamatter sa karamihan tong sinasabi ko pero gusto ko lang mag site ng points na dapat pag isipan muna ang mga bagay bagay bago ito gawin.. :)

Ano ba problema mo sa mga Universities?? Kung ayaw mo pumunta or magtake ng exam dun then dont... wala naman kasing nagsasabi na pumunta ka dun di ba?? Kailangan pa ba ipagkalat nationwide?? Oo tama ka.. we have our own opinion... your opinion states na tama ginawa mo... pero para kasi samin... HINDI...

Oo, blog mo yan.. you can post anything... pero syempre di ba.. dapat may limits ang pagpo-post... yung tipong hindi ka nakakasira ng reputasyon ng iba..

On a note related to the girl's post on her opinions about UST, UP and other offended universities: Don't fight fire with fire. Better yet, stop inflicting your opinions on one that is already burning. However that was really hilarious.

I just really don't get why people like to add more fuel to it. I'm pretty sure she gets off from the hate and the attention she is getting.

However, one must really know to look at both sides of the story before actually pointing out their own. She said some a few things that are true in terms of  the money part. (I mean what university doesn't get off money? It's true. People are just too loyal.)

She's a bit bold with her statements (reminds me of myself in high school!) though some of those were exaggerated and just rude.

Some schools get off money, some schools assess their students to know they're  worth passing. Not all people are idiots. I mean may mga matatalinong BOBO din sa buhay.

An opinion isn't harmful until you let yourself be affected by it.

Learn to be open minded and widen your horizons! Don't send hate and don't get off from it.

And this will probably be the first and last time I address this issue.

Let me go back to flailing over Sherlock.

Yvonne. Seriously, you have to listen to me. Probably your close friends or family have not said this about you, but as I have observed, you're attitude is becoming one of our greatest fears in this generation. I do not want to criticize you as a person, but hear me now when I say that you are mentally ill at risk of a mental illness. Reflect on what you posted last time about UST and this:

Okay, blogs. Blogs are like your e-journals where you could express yourself. They are simply personal and opinionated. But if you have to post something like this to offend people, then it is not simply an opinion. You may say what you want to say, but if it will lead to no good, then just shut up and keep it to yourself. Tumblr is still a social networking and public site, and it is exposed to the entire world wide web. You could've set the entry to "private".

What I am most concerned about is you being a self-proclaimed masochist. It's not normal. To top that, you're just 12 years old (if that's true). Do you even know what the word means? Child, you need serious counseling and spiritual guidance. You even said that you do not have a heart. What made you said that? I guess I do not understand you completely, but with these information, you were stuck at the first level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

I just pity you that you have learned the internet etiquette the hard way. If you continue this [offending], it will all go back to you—multiplied by a gazillion. I hope you will be enlightened. Sigh. God bless you.
