also I can't believe this kitty was completely feral (and maybe also traumatized) less than a year ago and now he's meowing to be pet and purring and everything
#99.txt#my son 🥺#he was SO skittish up until pretty recently. like he could chill with me but only if i did NOT move at all#theh he got used to little movements but only sitting in the same spot#and then ok with walking around but not directly toward him#its been so slow because of my shit roommate situation i cant spend as much time with him as i wish i could#and he lost some trust cos he got fleas and we had to give him his medicine which he HATED#but then when he got neutered his confidence SKYROCKETED#and he started coming up to us to rub his face on our hands#and now we can like. properly pet him !!!#not completely like we still have to be careful#he will VERY tentatively come up if we're up. but if we're sitting hes so bold now !!!#i tried to go away and he meowed at me to come back and pet him more !!!
