The five best cameras for beginner photography (2021)
This morning, we will review the top five best cameras of 2021 for photography.
Nikon D3500
The Nikon D3500 boasts a 24 megapixel for sharp, high-quality images. It sports an AF-P fracking kit to focus quickly in live view without on-sensor phase detection autofocus. Additionally, it handles well & it is easy for a beginner photographer to use.
Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV
The Olympus OM-D E-10 Mark IV camera has a 20-megapixel sensor with incrementally improved 4K resolution as the standard.
Fujifilm X-T200
The Fujifilm has a light & compact, but 35MM SLR (single-lens reflex) camera, with a 3.5 inch vari-angle 1:6 ratio to suit it perfectly for videos. It sports an electronic viewfinder with the ability to capture 4K videos & 24MP stills. The 15-45MM kit lens is electronically powered & takes up much less space than a regular kit lens as well as offering a wider angle of view than most, making it ideal for interior shots & big landmarks. A large touchscreen helps smartphone upgraders feel right at home. If this camera is too expensive for you, the X-A7 camera is a cheaper alternative, but you sacrifice the electronic viewfinder.
FujiFilm X-S10
The Fujifilm X-S10 has an excellent finish, build quality & handling with in-body stabilization & a vari-angle rear screen.
Nikon Z5
The Nikon Z5 sports twin card slots & a 4K UHD video.

2021's four worst cameras for beginner photographers
Welcome back! This morning, we discussed five of the best cameras you could buy to supercharge your hobby as a photographer. This afternoon, we will discuss four of the worst.
Canon Powershot A70
Customers who purchased the Canon Powershot A70 camera reported strange purple lines going across the LCD screen along with fuzzy & blurred photos with unusual colors. An E18 error code pops up on the camera which causes the lens to freeze while zooming in or out. All these problems happened after one year of use.
Sea Life DC500
Due to the inefficacy of the flash, on average only one in every 5 shots were taken in color. The camera locks up mysteriously & sometimes does not unlock under water.
Kodak EasyShare One
Customers using this camera have reported the lens cover sticking to the lens, broken battery doors & poor build quality of the camera housing.
Polaroid PDC-5080
This camera was a special 5.1MP camera for ⅕ of the price of a regular 5.1MP camera. However, it was incapable of taking 5.1MP photos.

5 most important features of a DSLR camera
Happy Independence Eve, my fellow green salamanders!
This morning, we will discuss 5 of the most important features of a DSLR camera.
1. Shooting Modes
On almost all DSLR cameras, there are 3 shooting modes. These modes are called aperture priority mode, shutter priority mode & manual mode. Aperture priority mode gives higher precedence to the aperture while shutter priority focuses on shutter speed.
2. Depth of Field
This feature can be achieved by changing the aperture through the aperture priority mode. It measures the focus of your scene.
3. ISO
Known as the international organization for standardization, the ISO is responsible for the sensor’s sensitivity to light & controls the digital noise.
4. Focus Modes
The three focus modes are fixed, servo & hybrid. Hybrid mode switches from fixed to servo focus modes automatically & vice-versa given the conditions the photo is being taken under. You must pay attention to how your subject moves to pick the correct mode.
5. Focal Points
This is the main part of the photo where you aim to maximize your focus.

Three cool features of Adobe Lightroom Classic
Today, we will be sharing three cool features you probably didn’t already know Adobe Lightroom Classic had. The capability of these features might blow your mind.
The selective color change feature allows you to pick only one specific element from the picture & change its color. First, you select the brush tool & auto-mask feature. Second, select where to change the color. Third, adjust the saturation & the exposure. Click the rectangle x-box, change the opacity & move the eyedropper icon. The new color should then show up.
The faded look feature allows you to add a faded appearance to your photo. First, change the tone curve setting to linear & edit the graph until the line looks like an “S”. Then, drag the left of the graph slowly upward.
The automasking feature allows you to create a boundary on a specific element within the image. Keep the “Show Selected Mask Overlay” checkbox checked at all times to avoid going out of the desired area.

Introduction to crop factor
Today, we will be learning about crop factor.
Crop factor is the relationship between the sensor size & the full frame, or the product of the CF & the focal length.
The crop factor in a nutshell allows you to change the depth of the picture without changing the resolution. Hence, it can be viewed as the crop feature of your favorite photo editing application.

Introduction to DSLR cameras
I’m sure every beginner photographer has pondered this question before. What is a DSLR camera & how does it work?
Simply put, a DSLR camera is a digital, single-lens reflex camera.
This type of camera allows for interchangeable lenses with the same device. It has a mirror inside the camera.
How does a DSLR work?
Light must enter the lens. The data is passed onto the photographer via reflection by a mirror inside the device. As the photographer shoots the photo, the mirror is moved to allow light to hit the sensor behind the mirror. Said data is transcribed into an image file, which is then stored in the camera’s memory. With a mirrorless camera, there is no mirror that has to be moved out of the way for light to hit the sensor.
The screen the picture is viewed on is called an electronic viewfinder.
