I was an early adopter of ebooks. I had to buy a reference book I wanted in paperback a couple months ago (no ebook version, who DOES that for a book published in 2019?) and it had been SO LONG since I read a physical book that I’d lost the rhythm of turning pages; it was so awkward!

I used to plan packing for holidays over how many books I could get in my case and stay under the weight limit, and I always, always ran out of books halfway through the holiday. The perils of being a speedreader! So being able to keep literally hundreds of books on a device the size and weight of a single paperback is IMO one of the best inventions of our time.

I am Switzerland here! But people are saying that your morals should make you anti, and to be pro rowaelin is disgusting and everyone is being rude n stuff. 1) having morals doesn’t mean you should automatically be against something, they are our own views and principles of right and wrong, belonging solely to us. 2) if you think rowaelin is pedophilia?- I sincerely hope you don’t ship feysand, nessian, or elriel if you are going down the idea of it being pedophilia route (in the politest way possible-just wondering) 3)everyone’s morals are different , I don’t believe it was abuse initially in hof due to the fact that aelin had insulted him and lashed out, so rowan retaliated, neither of them were any better than the other due to their emotional situation 4) {in my opinion the most important point[i will repeat]} because we all have different morals-Your morals could make you anti, they could make you pro so you cannot look down at one another because you a puffed up on your own sense of self importance and you believe your own morals matter more than another’s, which is quite frankly bullshit. 5)Finally, (and this applies to all sjm fandoms) can we please stop attacking eachother!! Over! Every! Opinion! We! Have! Fandoms are a safe place. You think rowaelin is toxic? Good for you. You think it’s a healthy loving relationship? Good for you. hey girl hey girl, five things you love about yourself, then send to 10 of your followers to spread positivity!

Okay, i don’t know if its weird but when i think of myself i feel really nice ATM (maybe its because I've recently started to love myself and its actually working?) and i cant really pin point 5 things that i like about myself but i hope these will do:

1. I am a survivor - i have depression but i haven’t let it control my life ENTIRELY (although most of the time i suffer from low self esteem and a lot of self hatred and i try to self-sabotage, i still haven’t done the one thing that can end all of this. And even though most days i cant get up from my bed, i still hold onto that thread of hope that someday i will be at a better place). 

2. I am very passionate - i love passionately and HATE passionately too. I don’t necessarily see hate as a bad thing. I’m apologetically human and i think i can hate whoever/whatever i want just as long as i don’t harm them/it or spread my hatred for that person or thing. But yea, i’m very passionate and i wont apologize for it. 

3. I really don’t care about people’s opinions - 15 year old me would have died if someone looked me the wrong way. Now, i don’t really mind. And as a result (of not trying to please everyone) my friend circle has grown smaller and tighter and i’m glad for it. And not caring about people’s opinions has taken away this burden that i had no idea i was carrying.  

4. I swear. A lot. I don’t know why i love that about myself especially when a lot of people tend to see it as a bad thing. Maybe, swearing is a bad thing. I mean it is. But i think that me loving my constantly swearing ass means that i’m loving even the bad parts of me. 

5. Aspiring author - i am a writer and that’s a huge part of my identity. Because of certain situational problems i haven’t been able to write and practice my craft. But that doesn't mean that i don’t hope to be an author simply because i have this story in my head about this girl. And i want everyone to know about her because she’s ME in another world. A world where there is magic and evil and fallen gods and dragons and love and betrayal and so much more. And some part of me hopes that this story will help others suffering from depression or anxiety or some other kind of mental illness - just the way it still helps me cope.
