Honestly i think my source is the most obscure of all. I am Rosemary from The Giver (by Lois Lowry, my timeline is like a hybrid of the book and the movie) and I feel like I will never find anyone else from the same source. It’s so frustrating, but if there are any others out there from the series, just know that a Rosemary out there is thinking about you from Elsewhere.

Being a character from a book that is required reading in most fifth grade classes is fun, so is being a character who committed unalive before the book even started. Love being like "Hello, I'm Rosemary from The Giver and yes, I was just as traumatized by reading that book in school as you probably were"

It's a great book and probably one of my favorite required reading books from when I was a kid but good fucking gods finding out that I'm in it has been a trip and a half. The other day I was lying awake in bed with the lights off and had to quickly look at the discord server icons on my phone to remind myself that color is a thing that exists. I swear most awakenings aren't this hard

This is probably one of the most obscure kins ever but I’m Rosemary from The Giver and it SUCKS that I only get a passing mention in the book and don’t actually show up... and in the movie you see me in flashbacks but I’m acted by Taylor Swift in a wig 😭 I looked nothing like that !!!!! People joke a lot about how kinnies never kin random background character #285 but that’s literally how it is for me 😭

Being kin with Rosemary from The Giver is the most obscure I can get. I wish there were more people kin with anyone from the book series (my tl was a mix of the book and the movie) and it’s not like there’s a lot of material for me since I’m dead in the first freaking book. I'm kin with Jonas from The Giver, and one of my friends reminds me SO MUCH of Asher(they even share the name!), but he has no idea what kin is and I never have the energy to explain it, and even if I did, I doubt he'd actually turn out to be kin with the Asher from the book because that's the way my luck is.
