eep! Transfer is such an actual risk... not only with felines, but other reptiles. Washing hands/ disinfecting is so important! I can't imagine letting my cats in the cages. It's such an easy thing to overlook/ it should be talked about more. I'm always saddened when advice is received so negatively. much love

Yeah, people see cats cuddling beardies and think it’s cute because cats are cute so everything they do is apparently cute, when in reality cats are these beautifully efficient hunters that are built for small animal population control. Most folks also don’t know about the bacteria, which is why I talk about it a lot- it’s something I think everybody should know. Cat scratches can hurt humans if they’re not cleaned; they can lead to meningitis in the most extreme, worst cases. 

(That’s gotta be the best response to advice I’ve ever seen, though. I’ve never seen an adult throw a temper tantrum quite like that before.)

I so don’t have a design or anything like that yet but it’s a thought that I keep going back and forth about. I was looking up tattoo inspirations today, though, and even browsed some parlour websites... I’m such a wimp and keep backing out, hah. But I’d love a betta on my arm, or something.

The taiyaki tastes AMAZING! It’s a thin waffle with vanilla ice cream in the center with a little bit of strawberry filling. I actually prefer the traditional red bean filling but the Vietnamese food store was out so I got the strawberry this time.

AAAAAAAH MY COMMISSION CAME IN.

This was made by thefrecklebum of the late Troy and Jasper. It looks so much better in person photos don't ever do justice. They used some shiny paint on their fins and aaaah it just looks amazing.

I always loved seeing their works so I was very excited to get one myself when I got a job. Very happy with this and now I need to get a frame for this.

I know right?? I was leaning towards Topeka too, because objectively I like the name better (especially the nickname Peka omg), but I keep thinking that she looks more like a Wichita than a Topeka. Topeka sounds...warm colored to me. Like red or orange or yellow. And she has a cooler base.

Oop. I think you’re right/ actually it’s the Lowes that cuts it for us. (sorry whoops!!!) And you’re probably right so I’m not sure if other Lowes do it (I’ve seen two around here that do).

SOME home depots will- the one in my hometown did! I have no idea why some do and some don’t.
