As a paralyzed artist, art has played an important role for David in overcoming tremendous personal challenges as well as being a therapeutic release. David's artwork is a wide ranging collection of mosaics, design, symmetry, typography, and photography. David believes words typically manifest in an effort to provide a fresh perspective on common subject matter. Music, history, data, facts, and information are all influences as well. His most recent project titled HIP-HOP INFOGRAPHIK is a timeline inspired by THE ALFRED BARR DIAGRAM and THE FERAL DIAGRAM, which visually explores the origin of the music genre. Out of his passion towards the arts and the help he received from indulging in it, David founded the Rise Up Gallery, which is a non-profit organization based in Miami's Wynwood Arts District. The gallery showcases local artists and provides art therapy workshops to the community.
