In a perfect world Fashion brands would know all their suppliers and their impacts from farm to factory, through customers wardrobes, to end of garment life; they’d treat all workers, communities and eco systems with respect; they wouldn't over produce; they wouldn't produce things that couldn't safely decompose, they’d take responsibility for their products safe disposal and we would all be operating within the planetary boundaries... Sigh... Sadly we don't live in that world - yet. So we need legislation to help us on our path.
