My Thoughts: The Duchess Deal is the first romance book that i've enjoyed & had the most fun with in a while. For a while i thought i wasn't liking the romance genre anymore but this was exactly what i needed. I've been going through a lot of personal stuff, the stresses of self isolation has been wearing me thin. This book was such a nice break & really helped me escape. This book was actually the first historical romance book i've read. I wasn't sure i was going to possibly like this genre but i'm interested in reading more. Tessa Dare did a wonderful job with the characters. Emma and Ash's banter made me laugh out loud so many times. Also Emma & Ash's character development was very nice. I liked how they both slowly got to know each other over the story & how their love grew. Tessa Dare also did a good job it keeping this book historical but also added some more modern views. It was subtle & really added to the book. Overall i enjoyed this book and i'm looking foreword to reading the other books in this series as soon a possible.
