The Disko Starz & Amir Abbas - Raw Cutz, Vol. 2

Last year, The Disko Starz & Amir Abbas released the Raw Cutz EP, a release of raw underground disco house tunes with a nostalgic classic house sound. The release included the tune “Superfly” that garnered support from quite a few well-established DJs and producers. This time around, they have released Raw Cutz, Vol. 2 with a similar classic disco house vibe as the previous release.

The Disko Starz - Tokyo Nights

The Disko Starz returns back to form with that underground filtered house sound with their latest release. “Tokyo Nights” is an ode to the sound of old school Asian music with a twist of disco. The songs “Foxy Lady” and “Teardrops in Yokohama” are indicative of that sound. The Disko Starz - 1996

When filtered disco house came through a second wave in the late 2000s to early 2010s, a new generation of disco house producers took the spotlight. In the underground side of things, The Disco Starz gained a nice following with their old school filtered style combined with some uniquely different sampling. Many of those hard to find tracks can be heard on YouTube and Soundcloud. Only half of them, Dawood Helmandi, has been quite busy with releases and remixes on our label and others as well. Renée & B.Jinx - Tight Girlz

Ice Cream and The Disko Starz return with another release as Renée. When the both of them join forces, you get some unique filtered and jackin house. Their sound pays homage to the disco house sound of the past. B.Jinx joins forces with them on the summer themed title track 'Tight Girlz', while they groove it out with some filtered vibes on the B-side 'Solution'. Disko Cream - Valuables

Germany's Ice Cream and The Disko Starz have been producing their own style house disco, funky, and jackin’ house for a while. They have separately been influential in the underground disco house music, inspiring a new generation of DJs and producers to make their own unconventional style of disco and funky house music.
