How is it that her days panned out this way- for when a day of peace was needed all she got was bombardment. Yet on days she was to face the world head on, the only thing she found herself head on with was a cup of tea and reining in a potato. Yet today, she found herself with neither. A bleak feeling, like the world had gone to sleep, putting her own soul in a coma. A frown to her face as she stops her work, placing the tea stained documents to her table, simply listening.

                                      Silence

She flares her nostrils in hopes of finding some answer within her senses. Vastra only finds disappointment. Pushing back the chair she once sat on with a boneless squeal as it made contact to the floor she strides from the room- finding the house hollow, almost like a shell as her footsteps echo throughout the house. Her brows are starting to knit together. She finds herself at her door, opening the thing with unknown strength. For a moment- her heart stills. Finding nothing before her eyes. It's not until a lost figure dances before her eyes does she dare to call out.
