This post is really just a reminder to Norman to send me a pic of his completed occasional table/bench. He got a beautiful piece of spalted beech from @bowcrafty for the top. However I couldn't get pic of it finished. Trust me it looks superb. I thought I should share this with you guys. It's one i made for my own kitchen. Technically consider ing what's possible its fairly straightforward. It was made from leftover Damascus from a hammer i was making for @silverlandscape (which I have practically finished Cara promise). Theres 7 layers of differing steels hammered out flat. With a little splash of paint on the corners for etching. It will be polished up as in do plan to use it and the black stuff on the surface isnt to tasty. I didn't think to hard about the design and used all.the tools available to people who attend our courses.
