“It’s late.” 

Despite the hour, Erik has found it quite difficult to sleep. He’d ventured back downstairs to help himself to some of his new queen’s expensive wine, lounging upon a low-slung and elegantly arched sofa with it’s intricate detailing around the armrests. Not as cozy as some, but nice enough for an evening of contemplation like this one. He hadn’t imagined she would join him, but his eyes wander over her form appreciatively, and there is plenty of room for two. Plenty of wine, too. 

“Don’t you need your beauty sleep?” They’ve managed to start getting along a bit better, but that doesn’t mean he would willingly miss a chance to sass her.
