The morning before the wedding Angel sits in Hank’s tattoo chair and sets his palm on the armrest. The design of the ring is already stencilled onto his finger, the indigo outline ready to be inked upon his skin.

“This is your final chance to back out.” Hank smiles as he picks up the tattoo gun, turning it on. The low buzzing emits through the room as he dips the tip into the ink.

“Nah, that’s not what we’re doing today.” He tells the other man, settling back into the seat.

It takes an hour for Hank to tattoo the wedding ring onto Angel’s finger. He can’t wear a regular wedding band, not after he saw a guy’s finger getting ripped off a few years ago when he was working in the yard. The machine had caught on the gold circlet on his hand and he hadn’t been able to pull free. He’s seen some nasty shit in his time but that’s the one that really sticks with him.

He also can’t stand the idea of not wearing one. He wants people to know that he belongs to you, that his commitment to the woman he loves is for life.

It’s later that day that his nerves start to get the better of him. He’s standing in the rose garden at your farm underneath a white archway in his kutte when he starts to wonder what if.

What if you’ve finally seen sense?

What if you’ve decided him and Valeria aren’t worth the trouble?

What if? What if? What if?

He thinks EZ must sense him spiralling because he places his hand on his shoulder and turns Angel’s body towards the bottom of the aisle as Songbird begins to play the fiddle.

“Look.”

The first thing he sees is his daughter. She’s clad in white, toddling down the aisle haphazardly tossing pink rose petals left and right. She’s having great fun being the centre of attention. He bends down to pick her up and she laughs as he smothers her delicate face with kisses before he gently hands her off to EZ.

When he straightens up again he sees you standing there on his father’s arm and the sight…

It blows him away.

You’re wearing a red tea dress that falls to your knee and lace sleeves. Your hair is pinned away from your features, there’s poppies woven into it.

You look like a queen, his queen.

“Mi Reina.” He smiles as you come to stand in front of him.

You respond by taking both his hands in yours.

“My Angel.”

Mayans Is Over 😭 -No Spoilers

I just watched season 5 episode 10. Mayans is over. I’m not sharing anything about the episode or even the season in this post. I have lots of feelings about it though, some good & yes, some bad. But, regardless Mayans is my favorite show. Of all time, and of course Sons of Anarchy is right there with it. I’m so sad that it’s over. So sad. But I don’t feel the same way I did when Sons ended. And that’s because of all of the amazing writers here on Tumblr keeping these characters alive! Of course the stories are all so different than the show, and honestly, I am really grateful for that. These characters will live on because of your writings. So thank you. (I know I will forget people & forgive me) but here’s a hug & love to just a few of my fellow Mayan lovers!

Benny Magalon's Wardrobe - A study

OKAY, LET'S TRY AGAIN. After having a colapse because I DELETED the whole thing yesterday (I was doing here, mobile, because I was bored), we're trying again tonight. Now I'll save the drafts 😁

First and foremost: His style.

Maurice said while promoting Den Of Thieves that he had a finger on creating Benny' looks. I think it's awesome! Even if he appeared for, like, five minutes during the whole movie (and maybe that's the reason why they let him have this 'freedom' 😅), I truly believe that there's a lot of Maurice there.

That being said, all of my comments here comes from a place of... My own headcanon. Fuck the canon. There's no canon. And you can disagree, okay? 👀

He is from the 90s. Head to toe. Maybe he was the type of teenager or young adult that loved that Ice Cube movies. I KNOW HE DID. Posters and all. And he could be that type of listening to Snoop Dog, Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur kind of guy, but his mother would scold him for listening to these songs. Perhaps he wanted to be the bad guy, the gangster - then one of his cousins ended up in a difficult situation and it scared the shit out of him.

(I'm going too far here 😅).

ANYWAY, he's stuck. 90s. Let's go.

I will say something here that is more of a snippet of Bossa Nova than a separate comment, BUT - he was wearing this during that first encounter at the crime scene. Discreet, really what he is, and the pecs... Damn. Good boy.

So, for the headcanons, how about anything for Coco Cruz?

I firmly believe that when he finished his tours overseas, he was very much one of those soldiers who struggled to grasp the calm and relative safety of being home. While Santo Padre obviously has its own dangers, it's nothing like the combat zones he probably saw when he was deployed.

I feel like he was definitely one of those soldiers who slept on the floor after he got home because the bed felt too comfortable and safe and it didn't feel right to him anymore.

I also think that while he was looking for brotherhood when he sought out the MC, the inherent danger of being an outlaw and the intensity it carried with it was just as much an appeal for someone who just came back from what he had gone through as the brotherhood and belonging was. I think Coco has been the type of guy who was conditioned to always be looking for a fight even though in reality all he wants is a little bit of peace.

Send me a “📂” and I’ll give you a random/useless headcanon that I have!

“This can’t be,” You said. “You can’t do this to me, Horacio.”

“You didn't have that right either. Don't believe for a second I didn't think this was all crazy, all... una gran mierda,” His last words came as a whisper, as if he just confessed something serious enough to make him grab all of the circumstances inside his head. 

Carrillo sighed. 

“Juliana had never confronted me this way, she had never told me what she felt with such certainty. I spent a lot of time blaming her for this, but the truth is, being with me hurts. I'm a ticking time bomb, a static creature that lives by rules that I don't always believe in but that make me who I am. I'm a big bunch of beliefs that don't take me anywhere.” 

“... But I did.”

He let the silence linger, a hand passing through his face while he nodded. 

“Yeah,” You could see, deep down, that he was on the verge of crying. Carrillo. Crying. Suddenly, he was the that boy, pristine and full of feelings he couldn’t spill out for the sake of being well-behaved, of not building any more problems to his mama. 

You never thought you'd witness it - or find sense in a man like that looking so torn apart for so long. 

“And I honestly don't know what to make of it all.”
