Happy New Year, anon!

Yes, I've seen both seasons out so far. Since I played all the games, I approached with some healthy skepticism because a lot of times live-action stuff goes to shit.

I really enjoyed Henry Cavill's portrayal of Geralt. I had seen some of his earlier period-specific roles like when he was in The Tudors many years ago so I didn't think he would have a problem with the role or the setting. He's also a super huge nerd and when he talked about the series and the BOOKS (which so often get glossed over), I felt we were in good hands so long as he remained with the series.

So you can imagine my disappointment now that he's no longer going to be in the series after season 3. I think it's a huge loss for fans. And while I'm still going to give future releases a chance as a big Witcher fan, it's going to be like the 007 movie series for me where I consider each Bond to be a completely different interpretation of the main character.

Honestly, that universe is so rich with characters and lore, they could easily do major story arcs for other characters, especially Ciri or Vesemir. Geralt didn't lone-wolf everything. In a lot of stories and quests, he relied on a network of talented badasses and their contributions to get things done.

He didn't get publicity for his acting he's good I love his acting as Sherlock & August walker

He got his major hit for superman people recognize him as superman it's not his acting it's love the character

Batman Vs superman war between two best friends/hero's everyone was excited for their fight

In MI6 it was already a hit series plus Tom cruise

Nomis..uncle.. immortals etc are not very famous you can't even found nomis some websites

Enola Holmes already have a great star cask plus Sherlock Holmes- there's plenty of Sherlock fans

I think Witcher is the only show which was already famous and he was the most established celebrity so in press tour they tried to focus on Henry more... Henry always mentioned his crew members in interviews but if you notice his voice carefully and see his expressions he likes the attention

In superman he got the attention but there's was a factor if audience didn't like him his currier will end (there was a fear working)so in immortals and man of steel interviews he looks and behaves like he's so sweet honest perfect guy I love him In those

And in Witcher he's so confident cause he's established people will love him and he really loved this job but he definitely have high amount of ego🙃

I analyzed the heck out of The Wicher tour and he LOVED it. He was the only star, sometimes the only actor during the promo. I don’t think this happened to him before.

1.Immortals, he wasn’t established yet.

2. MoS, even he was the lead, the movie had Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Costner, Shannon, Crow. He was the least important.

3. Uncle, Armie+Vicander.

4 Nomis, Sandcastle no one was interested, he didn’t even promote them.

5. MI6. Cruise.

6. JL, BvS again, he was not the lead or the most important.

Crazy to think about but The Witcher was his real first solo flight. But if you watch carefully the first season it’s not about him, more like Yennefer and Ciri. Geralt is a supporting role. And as I heard his role will be even less significant in the second season.

That’s why I don’t think he is an A list. The Witcher could have been amazing and it could have been amazing to his career. Well… it’s mediocre.
