#the whole musical subfandom isn’t like that

completely agree with your head cannon rant about people not being right or wrong but i CANNOT stand ANY of the musical only fans😭 they IRK me

see, i feel that’s unfair. sure, there are annoying ones, but there are also really sweet musical only fans. for every one annoying fan i guarantee there’s five not annoying ones. there are really annoying book fans as well. it’s not fair to generalize one group based on a vocal minority of annoying fans. that leads to fandom toxicity and encourages people to leave the fandom. i’ll admit, some of them are annoying and i’ve blocked them, but it’s like that with every media. there are annoying book and movie fans too. not all musical fans are bad just as all book fans aren’t bad.

the point of that post was basically to say that headcanon does not equal canon and that what the cast says about ether characters (for the major characters at least, imo) is purely headcanon. thats just my opinion and you don’t have to agree with me but that’s basically what i was saying.

i dunno. i just block the blogs that piss me off and move on with my day. but i guarantee you there are many many many sweet musical fans. just as there are many many many sweet book fans. the loud minority doesn’t speak for everyone.
