Rogue is great btw I love her, especially how much different she is in 2077 vs 2023. The fact that she was incredibly idealistic only for that all to get ripped out from under her as she's forced to pick between sacrificing what she believes in or sacrifice her life. She's gotten so jaded and closed off in a way she never was before, even if she seemed a little too tough or a little cold back when johnny knew her. It's nothing compared to how she feels by the time V meets her. And fuck, the fact she spends the whole date with Johnny almost trying to roleplay being young again, trying to brush away all the garbage she had to do to survive before the guilt of the situation takes over. It must be so much worse to have a johnny that actually cares, or at least has the ability to express that he does, dangled over her now that she sees herself as wrong, bad, inferior to who she was back then.
