sometimes i'm just going about my life and i'm like wow the second half of good luck to you leo grande was so bad
#the way she just violates his personal/professional boundaries and digitally stalks and he forgives her is so WEIRD#imo would have been a much better conflict if they're just coincidentally run into each other in a non-sex work context#and had to grapple with that#okay actually i wasn't just going about my life i was watching another movie in which one of the main characters was a sex worker#but i do occasionally just think about how much i hated the second half of that movie so#also the movie weirdly shying away from unpacking dynamics around race when it was v interested in dynamics of money/age/gender was weird#lulu speaks#lulu watches things#lulu watches good luck to you leo grande#movies#good luck to you leo grande
