-he’s not controlled by malice or anything because it would feel like a deus ex machina to me

-in the end he doesnt die and he gets redemption because he didnt hurt anyone he just tried to kill ganondorf a few times hes good, and also zelda is his friend and an heir to the throne he’s got immunity. poor guy just needs help processing all those lives and needs a cabin in the woods with some fairies!!!

✨RELATIONSHIPS STUFF

-zelda and ganondorf actually knew each other as kids! Both being royalty and all. legends do talk about a hero a princess a beast or whatever but don’t use link or ganondorf’s names since it’s been so long- it takes zelda and ganondorf both finding old, old books on their own to be like “AH OOPS”!!! Ganondorf learns about his past lives much earlier than zelda, who finds out during her adventures, and she goes from seeing ganondorf as a dear friend to being like “…but what if he’s really bad though”

they’re old childhood friends, you know, the kind that were best friends before and then grew up and saw each other less often (different kingdoms and all) so they kinda grew apart, and then zelda starting her quest made them reconnect again! Ganondorf is a little older than zelda so he always saw her more as his little sister who just jumps into mud because she totally saw a sword there i promise, and zelda sees ganondorf as her cool older brother who actually pays attention to her, unlike her actual siblings

-when link and zelda meet, zelda’s like “weird dude but probably harmless” and link is like “weird girl but probably harmless” and then she’s like “oh my name is zelda” and link goes “ah just likeWAIT” and he kinda observes her to… gauge her abilities? My Zeldas Were Better kinda thing. i guess during their final battle he’s like “you’re really a zelda, after all” and its bittersweet

the second zelda figures out link is also part of those legends she goes full hero worship mode, which makes link’s fall from grace… really… hard on her. ive been admiring you and wanting to be a hero like you all this time, turns out you’re not a hero and also Not Okay

MCU stans were salty af during the Justice League and Wonder Woman trailer, you can see them invading every comments section on every social media promoting the trailers with nonstop salt and hate so pls. Don’t even try to start petty nonsense saying “DCEU stans r salty bout Ragnarok” when A- there’s so many ppl who are capable of enjoying both franchises and B- I saw way too many ppl saying “can they pls release some Captain Marvel news 😅” every time WW-related stuff dropped/drops and folks literally @ ing Marvel’s movie pages asking them to release GOTG and Homecoming news once the JL trailer was released. I saw ppl on tumblr literally admitting they were jealous about the attention JL was getting when the trailer dropped cos they love Marvel. You got MCU ppl comparing Zack Snyder to a serial rapist over a Justice League trailer. How about all you nerds calm down and stop acting like everything is so one sided and stop acting like anyone cares that much. Y'all want drama so badly. Mattafact this goes for every fandom. I really don't like what's going on in the DCEU. its easy to dismiss it r but when its Mark Hughes it makes you think there is something fundamentally wrong. I know the course of making a movie is complex buts 2 big movies are going to be delayed & all this happened when Johns took over, remember the good old days when Zack was in charge. I know d batman news is more ben than studio but still. I am going to try my best to be positive for future movies but it getting harder

I said this 🌚 many times but ppl get so up in their feelings cos they worship J*hns and while I do enjoy many of the comics he wrote, films are not comics, and if you have next to zero experience with blockbuster movies (like Zack who is both an extreme comics stan and highly experienced with huge films) how lucrative is the appointing of your position exactly? This isn’t an attack or anything but I have been skeptical of J*hns’ appointment the moment it was announced because the only thing I’ve seen from him are comic books (im ignoring the GL stuff). WB’s overdone meddling is what lead us here in the first place.

Not letting the directors do their own thing is what got us here in the first place. There was nothing wrong with the course of the DCEU films when Snyder was at the helm and there was nothing wrong with the films til WB and co cut them up (BvS) or changed the production before and amid filming (Suicide Squad) and I’m so tired. There’s endless annoying bad press, every director leaving cos of “creative differences” (which I understand what WB wants, WB gets but at the same time I don’t even know wtf is going on) and now seeing Mark Hughes write that article- MARK HUGHES, THE SHINING KNIGHT OF POSITIVE MEDIA FOR THE DCEU- I’m like….bruv…..

Delaying these movies are also delaying their other films and affecting the timeline and continuity (like Batman and GSC need to be in sync and so does Cyborg and The Flash but Flash and Batman are currently in limbo in terms of finding a director and sticking to a script that they’re comfortable with ugh 🙄). I’m sure that once they ultimately decide on a script/director, things will be smooth again. We still have Justice League and Wonder Woman to look forward to. So I’m just focusing on that and thinking less and less about this annoying back and forth from WB. I know it’s actually quite normal for all companies and franchises to deal with this but for the DCEU it’s negative press because the media acts any time there’s a standard complication, it’s the sign of doom for the DCEU (even tho the same thing happens with M*rvel movies as well but no one reports on it the way they do with DC 🙃). They act like it's so much worse when it's the norm lol and the constant harrowing from fans and media alike is just...ugh. I’m over it.

WB better get someone to handle their PR instead of letting these boneheaded biased websites speak for them every time something happens. In the meantime imma just keep looking forward to JL and WW and I suggest you do the same til this all calms down.
