EVERYONE DESERVES A SUPPORT SYSTEM LIKE GEORGE AND BLAKELY. I WILL SAY IT AGAIN !!!

I knew what this chapter was going to be and yet I was still unprepared for how much it was going to hurt. Seeing her close in on herself the way she is, it’s so difficult to see because she’s a free spirit, and sadness doesn’t look good on her. When she wrapped herself in Egan’s jacket I immediately could tell that it’s because it’s big and can cover her completely. It’s large enough to shield her from the outside world and the pain that’s out there. That hurt so bad to read. And then Mr. Bevan coming all the way to East Anglia to get her out of her funk (round of applause for the team of Aarons & Blakely) gosh it’s just, that father daughter dynamic is so wonderful. And special. As someone who’s super close to their dad, their relationship warms my heart so much.

I truly can’t tell you how much I love this story. Rosie & Frankie are super SUPER special. As a writer I can clearly see how important they are to you just in the way you craft their story.

PS: I live for George & Blakely… when he called her ‘baby’ I think I melted a little (a lot).

writing frankie in this chapter was HARDDD. i genuinely feel like i know her character better after this chapter - you've really gotta dig deep to figure out how a character would react in a situation like this. I find it interesting how her coping method is very isolating but simultaneously surrounds her with people she loves (wrapping herself in bucky's jacket, locking herself in the hotel room she shared with rosie) - it hits at a pretty core part of frankie i think, which is just that she loves so much. she loves so deeply, it's just who she is, and she can never fully separate herself from it.

mr allan bevan. you mean so much to me. i love you so dearly. their relationship is so heartwarming to me, like she is just his favourite thing in the ENTIRE WORLD full stop. there's no judgement with him, he just sees that his baby is in pain and jumps straight to fixing it. i just love them so much UGH

you're so right, they really are so so important to me, and I'm really happy that it comes through in my writing. i don't know quite how to put it into words - they don't feel quite like anyone else I've ever written, they really do just occupy their own private space in my heart
