Actually, I really love writing the villain in a betrayal arc because it’s so satisfying to lay out the clues that the person you love and respect and trust is the one who has set you up to die this entire time.
like the ‘tell me you loved me. Lie to me if you have to’ and the response of like ‘you foolish girl. You had so much potential but you couldn’t stop caring.’ And the devastation of the flippant ‘yeah yeah I care about you. Happy now?’
it’s so satisfying and it’s so horrible.

I trusted you with my suspicions of the traitor only to realise too#late that you were the traitor.’
