#I can’t believe it#I spoke too soon#the vet finally called back w/ the results of her bloodwork and everything related to her kidneys is horrible#they recommended hospitalization for a few days#$1000 for hospitalization at their place which isn’t 24/7 and is the equivalent of boarding#the only options being hospitalization at a 24hr animal hospital in Long Island of all places#or learn to give her fluids at home#I’m so upset#I chose the third option obviously but I want to scream#the vet was sympathetic but I still feel guilty#like I’m providing her the best possible care by just immediately paying a chunk of rent to a hospital stay#and ofc I felt even worse telling my husband#he agreed with my decision to give her fluids at home but I know it’s just another piece of work for him another piece of added stress#that he’ll keep locked up inside him instead of telling me
