They moved closer together as if drawn together and both were kissing before the officiant said they could. It didn’t matter. They didn’t need to be told they were now man and wife. They could feel it.

well you know me, i wanna know more about the eah au 👁️👁️ but also the emotional support loftwing. Whichever you feel like sharing :)
- crazylittlejester
Ever After High AU - Main
As you know, the premise is that the Links have been crammed into the Ever After High universe. I'm treating them as characters in addition to the canon characters in EAH, which means a lot of fudging, as it turns out. It's also turning into a game of "how mean can I be to the characters" and I can't exactly lose at it. XD
I've already given you a list of all the Links' and Zeldas' roles so far, but to recap, here's an updated list.
Time/Mask - a child stolen by fairies, unknown legacy, possibly the next Godfather Death, unsure of his stance on destinies.
Lullaby - Mulan's legacy, neutral about destinies.
Warriors - Helen of Troy's legacy, hates his destiny but too afraid to rebel against it.
Artemis/Athena - Athena's legacy, thinks her destiny is boring but is going along with it.
Wild - Rip van Winkle's legacy, but it got messed up with Sleeping Beauty's curse during a magical attack on the school, accidentally woken up by Hyrule.
Flora - Unknown legacy, gains the ability to turn into a dragon and uses her dragon form to wait for Wild to wake up.
Sky - The next person to fight the Jabberwocky, likes his destiny but wants to end the cycle of legacies.
Sun - [redacted] legacy, just waves it off and says it isn't important right now, 100% in love with Sky and supportive of his agenda.
Legend - Merlin's legacy, feels neutral about it since he has to wait a long time to be an adult wizard due to their longevity.
Fable - Legend's twin sister, inherited magical abilities as well, but is not a fan of the princess legacy she inherited, which will make her a side character in someone else's story.
Twilight - Unknown legacy, cursed to be a wolf-dog that Wild adopted and now is stuck with him until someone puts two and two together, he just wanted to be a farmer.
Dusk - Unknown princess legacy, is very suspicious of the weird dog Wild takes everywhere with him, but can't prove anything.
Wind - The child of an ocean deity, probably from Atlantis, doesn't care about his destiny and spends all his free time with Tetra.
Tetra - Knows who her parents are but refuses to be boxed into a destiny, so she never tells anyone what her legacy is.
Hyrule - Jack the Giant Killer's legacy, saves a bunch of people because he's just that nice, is wonderful at what he does, but everyone thinks he knows the technical stuff when he doesn't.
Dawn & Aurora - Miscellaneous princesses, they don't really know what they want to do with their lives and are kind of figuring themselves out.
Four & Shadow - Were supposed to share a legacy, but there was a falling out in the family and now the whole story is messed up.
Dot - Is fine with her destiny and really just spends all her time working on hobbies and getting random certifications while she waits to be rescued. Honestly could not be happier, this changes nothing for her.
Ravio - This is probably going in a side story later, sorry.
Malon - Also probably going to be in a side story later. Sorry.
Spirit - Wasn't supposed to have a destiny but ended up befriending a ghost and then died in a train accident caused by a magic fight that made him a ghost, too.
Phantom - Was born into a legacy family but was an "extra princess" who ended up getting assassinated before she ever found out what her destiny was supposed to be, ends up being best friends with Spirit.
Anyway, here's a bit from the main plot. :)
No, it was too early for him to fall asleep! It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. He didn’t sign The Storybook of Legend yet, none of this was supposed to be happening… Regardless of his opinion on the matter, his eyes drooped shut. The magic permeating every fiber of his being and lulling it to a deep, dark sleep. Despite his best efforts, he was rendered unable to fight it, his will simply too weak to assert itself over something so powerful. His last dim thought was gratefulness for the fact that Flora would be his last sight before he woke up again. If he ever did.

Some thoughts on Friday the 13th 2009
Guess that title will do or so. I was joking with @lovezdarestevez4ever about something and got distracted from not making this. This isn’t really a review. But some points from me on how I feel about the film.
I don’t really hate the 2009 reimagining of the series. And that’s due to a couple of reasons.
1. It’s literally the same as the earlier films. Compared to something like Halloween 2007 or Elm Street 2010, I don’t know. It’s more like the fact it feels like it’s part of the same series despite some things that separate it. It almost feels like a “Legacy” sequel but it’s not.
It’s technically akin to something like Batman 1989 where the origin isn’t a full focal point. But it strangely leads into something. Weird comparison, it’s more like, “Let’s kind of skip the origin and just show it really quick” kind of shit.
2. The idea to use elements from the first four films is actually a fucking genius idea. Because you’re practically blending in what are basically considered possibly the best films or so and combine into one story without having to make more than one film.
Even though I genuinely wouldn’t mind a legitimate remake of the first film. But I keep thinking general audiences just want to see Jason.
3. The portrayal of Jason is still my favorite of all the actors. Even though I like them all. But Derek Mears is the kind of Jason I love. And honestly, I see this as a Jason film mainly because of the number of times he shows up.
4. Trent’s entire character. This may sound strange, but holy crap. Even though he’s not a favorite of mine. But he’s such a cartoonish douchebag that it downright amuses me with his fucking dialogue being so insane. That you’re in shock with how fucking douchey he is because Travis Van Winkle plays him so well. He’s strangely meme material.
WeWatchedAMovie’s review of the film where they talk about Trent, they explain it perfectly in the most humorous way. And there’s a scene and from that review, I hear that Michael Bay himself walked out halfway through the movie because there was...too many tities. I question this, like, did he actually say that somewhere?
5. I will admit, I actually like the score from Steve Jablonsky. Even if I still prefer Harry Manfredini’s scores.
-
Now on to the more negative stuff that...brings the film down.
1. The fact it’s the same as the earlier films...it’s kind of nothing special. Yet it’s special in a way where I don’t feel bothered by it like Halloween 2007 or Elm Street 2010. But the fact it’s kind of...somewhat nothing special brings it down. And this goes into the next thing I want to talk about.
2. The idea to use elements from the first four films is still genius. But the way the writers did it just wasn’t for me. The best way I could describe the film is how my good buddy @lovezdarestevez4ever said in her review of the film.
The film is practically a “CliffNotes” version of Friday the 13th from writers who watched the older films without paying attention to why certain elements worked. And honestly, considering I have a little problem with the writers...I agree. This is her review right here. https://at.tumblr.com/lovezdarestevez4ever/i-watched-friday-the-13th-2009-and-it-was/opxnm29hwwis
Because to me, the elements don’t blend naturally. Or they don’t use these elements in a more meaningful way. You know how like in comic book films they take elements from different stories and try to blend them in the best story possible to adapt? It’s a weird comparison. It’s just I think if Filmento ever did a video on Friday the 13th 2009, and I have thought about this before. He would point out stuff that feels like it wasn’t thought more about or whatever.
I again, think blending in those elements is a cool idea because in a strange way. I could see the first three films as a 277-minute-long film. I actually used my computer’s calculator to look that shit up. Yet this likely counts the beginning and end credits for all three films.
The point being is that considering this was directed by the guy who directed the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. I feel like they could’ve done more with those elements and did something new with them or build upon them. I strangely wished that the write for that remake came back for this instead of the writers from Freddy vs Jason. But that depends on what Scott Kosar would’ve done, or maybe another writer.
I do appreciate the decision to go back to the “Grittier” route of the earlier FT13th films. That was something needed after the last few films.
3. And the characters, and listen, I get a lot of FT13th characters aren’t much to write home about. But I agree with my friend that they are more like...parodies in a sense. Where in the originals, the characters seem more casual despite a lot being service level. And while I think Clay is one of the better protagonists of the series, the other characters are hit and miss. Despite a lot of them get a lot of brutal kills as usual.
There’s also the fact the storyline with Jason and Whitney couldn’t been dealt with so much better. Because that is something I REALLY like, but it’s not built upon more or something.
I should just finish the post. The 2009 reboot is basically a modernized version of part 3, but without the 3D. And you get elements from parts 1, 2, and 4. It seems weird that I use part 3 as an example. Mainly because part 3 feels like the most “Random” or “Disconnected” because NO ONE besides Chris knows of Jason in that film. And they never say his name.

Tumblr media
The Distinctive Craftsmanship Behind Pappy Van Winkle 23
The story of Pappy Van Winkle 23 begins with its commitment to tradition and time. Aged for 23 years, this bourbon undergoes a maturation process that far exceeds the aging of typical bourbons, which are often aged for 6-8 years. This extensive period in the barrel allows the bourbon to take on deeper, more complex flavors, with oak, vanilla, caramel, and spice melding together to create a harmonious profile. The result is a whiskey that is smooth yet robust, intense yet balanced.
The Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery is known for its dedication to quality over quantity, which is why Pappy Van Winkle 23 is produced in limited batches. Each release is carefully monitored, and only the barrels deemed perfect make it into the final blend. This selectivity ensures that every bottle upholds the high standards that have made Pappy Van Winkle a household name among whiskey lovers.
Tasting Notes: What Sets Pappy Van Winkle 23 Apart
The tasting profile of Pappy Van Winkle 23 is as rich and layered as its reputation suggests. Upon the first pour, you’ll notice a deep amber hue that hints at the intense flavors within. The aroma is captivating, with notes of dark cherry, leather, and aged oak rising from the glass, inviting you to explore further.
On the palate, Pappy Van Winkle 23 reveals layers of flavor that unfold slowly and richly. Vanilla and caramel greet you first, followed by hints of chocolate, tobacco, and dried fruits. These flavors are complemented by the bourbon’s natural sweetness and a touch of spice, creating a profile that is complex yet incredibly smooth. The finish is long and satisfying, with a warm, slightly smoky aftertaste that lingers, leaving an impression that is both memorable and enjoyable.
The History and Legacy of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon
The legacy of Pappy Van Winkle traces back to Julian "Pappy" Van Winkle Sr., a whiskey pioneer who founded the Stitzel-Weller Distillery in 1935. His philosophy, "We make fine bourbon at a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always fine bourbon," continues to guide the production of every bottle today. This dedication to quality and craftsmanship has allowed the Van Winkle brand to maintain its reputation as one of the most sought-after names in the world of bourbon.
After the closure of the Stitzel-Weller Distillery, the Van Winkle family continued to produce limited quantities of bourbon, upholding the traditions and techniques that Pappy Van Winkle established. Today, Pappy Van Winkle 23 is crafted in partnership with Buffalo Trace Distillery, a highly respected facility known for its expertise in aging and blending high-quality bourbons. This collaboration ensures that each bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 23 maintains the authenticity and excellence that has defined the brand for nearly a century.
Why Pappy Van Winkle 23 is a Collector’s Gem

This bourbon is not something you find on every shelf; it is a coveted item, often available only through exclusive outlets or specialized retailers like Royal Batch.

🟢 Vanilla Ice, born Robert Van Winkle, hit the hip-hop scene hard in the early '90s with his smash hit "Ice Ice Baby." The track, which sampled Queen and David Bowie's "Under Pressure," became the first hip-hop single to top the Billboard charts. At the time, many people loved it, but it didn’t take long for the backlash to come. A lot of folks in the hip-hop community felt like Vanilla Ice was a gimmick. He came off as inauthentic, and in a genre that prides itself on keeping it real, that was a big no-no.
🟦 The Controversy Around "Ice Ice Baby"
🟢 A lot of heads were mad that Vanilla Ice blew up so fast while real MCs struggled to get recognition. Ice himself didn't help the situation when he tried to distance himself from pop and portray himself as a serious rapper. His claims about his background—saying he grew up in the streets of Miami when he actually had a suburban upbringing—made people question his credibility. Hip-hop purists couldn’t respect an artist who appeared to be faking the funk.
🟦 Did He Have Skills?
🟢 When you break it down, Vanilla Ice wasn’t the worst rapper to ever pick up a mic. “Ice Ice Baby” had bars that were simple but catchy. However, in comparison to what was happening in the hip-hop world at the time, he didn’t hold a candle to the likes of Rakim, KRS-One, or even MC Hammer. Ice’s style was more about catering to a mainstream, pop-friendly audience rather than pushing boundaries in the art form.
🟦 The Downfall
🟢 Ice’s credibility was further shot when Suge Knight allegedly strong-armed him into signing over the rights to the song's royalties. Vanilla Ice's follow-up projects never reached the same success, and he quickly became a symbol of "what not to do" in hip-hop. By the mid-'90s, his career had taken a nosedive, and he tried to reinvent himself with a harder, more aggressive style that didn’t sit well with anyone.
🟦 The Legacy of Vanilla Ice
🟢 Years later, people look back at Vanilla Ice with mixed emotions. On one hand, he undeniably opened doors for white rappers, showing the world that hip-hop wasn’t just for one race. But on the other hand, he also became a cautionary tale of what happens when the culture feels exploited. Artists like Eminem, who came after Ice, had to work even harder to earn respect because of the shadow that Vanilla Ice cast over white rappers.
🟦 Was He Really That Bad?
🟢 The short answer is: no, Vanilla Ice wasn’t *that* bad. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, trying to fit into a scene that didn’t respect him because they saw him as a pop sensation rather than a true MC. He didn’t have the depth or the authenticity that people wanted from a rapper, especially during a time when hip-hop was solidifying its identity.
🟢 Vanilla Ice might’ve been more of a symbol for what was wrong with mainstream hip-hop in the early '90s than a terrible artist. He was caught between trying to be commercially successful and being true to the culture. He couldn’t have it both ways, and the community wasn’t going to let him live it down.

Unveiling the Mythos: Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon - More Than Just a Drink
Tumblr media
In the world of bourbon, there exists a name that reverberates with an almost mythical quality: Pappy Van Winkle. This distinguished bourbon has transcended its status as a mere spirit, ascending to the realm of legend and lore. But what lies behind the mystique of pappy van winkle bourbon, and why does it captivate the hearts and palates of whiskey enthusiasts worldwide?
To comprehend the allure of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon, one must first grasp its storied history. Rooted in the traditions of the American South, this bourbon traces its lineage back to the pioneering spirit of Julian "Pappy" Van Winkle Sr., who laid the groundwork for the brand's legacy at the Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Kentucky during the early 20th century. It was here that Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon began its journey towards becoming the epitome of craftsmanship and quality.
The tale of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon took a dramatic turn in the late 20th century when Julian Van Winkle III, Pappy's grandson, assumed the reins of the family business. Armed with a reverence for tradition and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Julian III embarked on a mission to elevate Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon to unprecedented heights of acclaim and admiration.
One of the defining characteristics of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon is its meticulous production process. Crafted in small batches using a closely guarded family recipe, this bourbon undergoes an aging process that spans years, not mere months. The result is a spirit of unparalleled depth and complexity, with flavors that unfold on the palate like a symphony of sensations.
Yet, it is not merely the taste of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon that sets it apart; it is also its scarcity. Each year, a limited number of bottles are released to the public, sparking a frenzy among collectors and enthusiasts alike. The quest for a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon has become a pilgrimage of sorts, with aficionados scouring the country in search of this elusive elixir.
But beyond its rarity and flavor, Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon embodies something deeper—a sense of heritage, tradition, and craftsmanship that harkens back to a bygone era. It is a reminder of the artistry and dedication that go into creating truly exceptional bourbon, and a testament to the enduring appeal of an American tradition.
Of course, the cult status of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon has not been without its controversies. Some critics argue that its astronomical price tag and limited availability have transformed it into a symbol of exclusivity rather than a celebration of bourbon craftsmanship. Others lament the commodification of what was once a humble spirit, fearing that its legendary status has eclipsed its true essence.
In the end, whether you view Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon as a symbol of connoisseurship or a victim of its own success, there's no denying its impact on the world of whiskey. From its humble beginnings in a Kentucky distillery to its status as a global phenomenon, Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon continues to captivate and inspire, reminding us that sometimes, the true value of a spirit lies not in its scarcity, but in the stories it tells and the traditions it upholds.

“What’s on your mind?” Adam asked as they walked along the path. He had noticed Clare had been unusually quiet that evening and he suspected it had to do with Maja’s decision.
“Nothing,” she grumbled in a way that wasn’t believable.
“Oh?” Adam chuckled, an eyebrow rising.
“Fine,” she huffed, crossing her arms as she gave him the benefit of her glare. “I can’t believe she’s giving him another chance. How many times does he have to mess up before she learns that he’s not worth it? And I know you agree with her.”
“It’s more like I support her decision,” Adam acknowledged.
“It was a stupid decision,” she spat out.

Pappy Van Winkle 15 Review
How rare is Pappy Van Winkle 15 bourbon, and is it worth the hype?  If you're curious about the rare and highly sought-after Pappy Van Winkle 15 bourbon, then this review is a must-watch.
Pappy Van Winkle 15 Bourbon is a whiskey that carries with it a rich history and a taste profile that has captured the hearts of bourbon enthusiasts around the world.
The story of Pappy Van Winkle begins with Julian P. "Pappy" Van Winkle, Sr., who started his journey in the bourbon industry as a traveling salesman for W.L. Weller and Sons in the late 1800s.
His legacy continued through the establishment of the Stitzel-Weller Distillery, which became known for its smooth-tasting bourbon thanks to Pappy's preference for using wheat instead of rye in the mash bill.
The creation of Pappy Van Winkle's 15-year bourbon was a result of necessity when the old whiskey reserves were running low.
In the early 2000s, Julian Van Winkle turned to Buffalo Trace to distill and age what would eventually become the renowned Pappy Van Winkle 15-year bourbon.
When you pour a glass of Pappy Van Winkle 15, you'll notice its elegant appearance, characterized by a deep amber color that hints at the complexity within.
Bringing the glass to your nose, you're greeted with a heavenly aroma that includes notes of caramel corn and vanilla, suggesting a sweetness that invites the first sip.
Upon tasting, the bourbon reveals big flavors of leather, oak, and complex fruitiness that dance on the palate. The long aging process of at least 15 years contributes to the depth of these flavors, as well as the limited supply of this sought-after spirit.
As some of the bourbon naturally evaporates during aging, known as the "angel's share," what remains becomes even more precious.
The finish of Pappy Van Winkle 15 is smooth, with notes of spice and oak tannins lingering on the tongue, leaving a lasting impression of the bourbon's quality and craftsmanship.
The complexity of this bourbon is further evidenced by its balance of sweet and spicy elements, creating a harmonious blend that is both bold and refined.
Next, I’ll tell you just how rare thisbourbon is, but please hit the subscribe button for me?  Thank you.
In terms of production, only about 84,000 bottles of Van Winkle are produced annually across all six labels.  That’s just 7,000 cases of this liquor gold making each bottle a rare find.
To put this into perspective, according to data from the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, In 2020, bourbon and Tennessee whiskey sales in the U.S. reached nearly 26 million cases.
This scarcity, combined with the meticulous distilling process and the generations of know-how behind it, contributes to the specialness of Pappy Van Winkle 15.
While Pappy Sr. himself was not a master distiller, he had the foresight to entrust the distillation to experts, ensuring that the bourbon bearing his name would be nothing short of exceptional.
Today, the Van Winkle bourbons continue to be a testament to his vision and the family's dedication to quality.
Pappy Van Winkle 15 Bourbon is not just a drink; it's an experience steeped in history and crafted with care. Its rich flavors, smooth finish, and undeniable complexity make it a bourbon that stands out among the rest.
Whether you're a seasoned bourbon aficionado or new to the world of whiskey, Pappy Van Winkle 15 is sure to leave a memorable impression.

Navigating the Hunt for Pappy Van Winkle For Sale
In the realm of rare and sought-after spirits, few names hold as much mystique as Pappy Van Winkle. This Kentucky bourbon, crafted by the Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, has become the Holy Grail for whiskey enthusiasts and collectors alike. Its scarcity and exceptional quality have turned the search for pappy van winkle for sale into a quest that spans the globe.
The Pappy Van Winkle phenomenon began with a family legacy deeply rooted in the art of bourbon making. The Van Winkle family's commitment to producing exceptional spirits traces back to the 19th century, with Julian P. Van Winkle Sr. laying the foundation. However, it was his grandson, Julian Van Winkle III, who elevated the family name to legendary status with the creation of Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve.
The allure of Pappy Van Winkle lies not only in its rich history but also in its meticulously crafted flavor profile. Aged for an extended period, often beyond two decades, the bourbon exudes complexity, depth, and a smoothness that sets it apart from its peers. With a limited number of barrels produced each year, obtaining a bottle has become a test of patience and perseverance.
The scarcity of Pappy Van Winkle for sale can be attributed to various factors. The aging process alone requires a significant investment of time and resources. The Van Winkle distillery's commitment to quality over quantity means that only a select number of bottles make it to market each year. Furthermore, the hype surrounding Pappy Van Winkle has led to an unprecedented demand, creating a supply-and-demand dynamic that has made these bottles increasingly rare.
For enthusiasts eager to experience the magic of Pappy Van Winkle, the quest often begins with an online search. However, the digital landscape is rife with pitfalls, as counterfeit bottles and dubious sellers abound. To navigate this treacherous terrain, it's crucial to rely on reputable sources and established retailers with a track record of authenticity. Genuine Pappy Van Winkle for sale often comes from licensed liquor stores, reputable online marketplaces, or directly from the distillery.
For those with the means and inclination to explore the secondary market, Pappy Van Winkle auctions have become a popular avenue. However, buyers should exercise caution and conduct thorough research before participating. Verification of a bottle's authenticity, provenance, and the reputation of the auction platform are paramount to ensure a legitimate acquisition.
Despite the challenges, the pursuit of Pappy Van Winkle remains a testament to the passion and dedication of whiskey enthusiasts. The thrill of finding a bottle for sale, whether through traditional channels or the secondary market, adds to the allure of this liquid gold. The camaraderie among collectors who share tales of successful hunts or near misses further enhances the sense of community surrounding Pappy Van Winkle.
In conclusion, the journey to find Pappy Van Winkle for sale is a quest marked by scarcity, history, and a shared appreciation for exceptional bourbon. As the legend of Pappy Van Winkle continues to grow, so does the fascination with this elusive elixir. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a curious newcomer, the pursuit of Pappy Van Winkle is a venture into the heart of bourbon lore, where each bottle tells a story of craftsmanship, tradition, and the relentless pursuit of perfection.

The Weller Bourbon Legacy: A Toast to Wheated Whiskey Excellence
Introduction:
Nestled in the lore of American whiskey, Weller Bourbon stands as a pillar of quality and tradition in the heart of bourbon enthusiasts. With a history stretching back over a century, Weller's distinctive profile has captivated the palates of drinkers looking for something exceptionally smooth. In this post, we'll delve into the rich heritage of Weller Bourbon, explore its unique wheated formula, and understand why it continues to be a sought-after spirit in bars and liquor cabinets across the country.
The Heritage of Weller Bourbon:
The Weller brand was pioneered by William Larue Weller, a man whose name would become synonymous with top-tier bourbon. Weller had the innovative notion to replace the traditional rye component of bourbon with wheat, a decision that would set the course for a new whiskey style. The year was 1849, and the bourbon landscape was forever changed.
Weller's choice to use wheat instead of rye is not just a matter of grain but one of taste and refinement. Wheated bourbon typically yields a softer, smoother profile with less spice and more gentle, bread-like sweetness. This approach was revolutionary, influencing other prominent labels in the industry, including the prestigious Pappy Van Winkle line.
The Weller Bourbon Lineup:
Weller Bourbon's lineup is a testament to the diversity that can be achieved within the confines of a single grain change. Each variant offers a unique experience:
Weller Special Reserve: Known as the "Original Wheated Bourbon," it offers a softer flavor profile, perfect for those new to bourbon or who prefer a less aggressive whiskey.
Weller Antique 107: With a higher proof, this version caters to those looking for a bolder taste without sacrificing the inherent smoothness that wheated bourbon provides.
Weller 12 Year: Often compared to the elusive Van Winkle bourbons, this aged spirit is a testament to the complexity that time can bring to a well-crafted whiskey.
William Larue Weller: Released annually as part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, this uncut and unfiltered bourbon is a powerhouse of flavor, often eclipsing many other high-end bourbons in blind tastings.
Weller Full Proof: Bottled at the same proof as when it enters the barrel, this offering is for those who want to experience bourbon in its purest form.
Weller Single Barrel: Each barrel is unique, offering a distinct profile, which makes each bottle a collector’s item for whiskey aficionados.
The Weller Cult Following:
In recent years, Weller Bourbons have developed a cult following, with enthusiasts eagerly awaiting each new release. The anticipation for limited editions like the William Larue Weller has led to a vibrant secondary market, with bottles sometimes selling for multiples of their retail price. This fervor is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship that the Weller brand has consistently delivered.
Weller Bourbon in Cocktails:
While excellent on its own, Weller Bourbon also shines in the cocktail world. Its wheated profile makes it a versatile player in classic concoctions. The smoothness of Weller Special Reserve makes it a sublime base for a Whiskey Sour or Old Fashioned, while the robust character of Weller Antique 107 can stand up to more complex mixers in a Manhattan or a Boulevardier.
The Future of Weller Bourbon:
As the demand for Weller Bourbon shows no sign of waning, the future looks bright for this iconic brand. Buffalo Trace Distillery, the custodian of the Weller legacy, continues to invest in the production and aging of Weller bourbons, ensuring that this cherished whiskey will grace glasses for generations to come.
Conclusion:
Weller Bourbon is more than just a whiskey; it's a piece of American history, a staple for collectors, and a testament to innovation in a category steeped in tradition. From its humble beginnings to its current status as a cult favorite, Weller has shown that with time, patience, and a little bit of wheat, whiskey can be elevated to an art form. So, the next time you raise a glass of Weller, know that you're savoring a sip of liquid legacy.
Whether you're a longtime aficionado or a curious newcomer, Weller Bourbon is a journey of flavor worth exploring. As the Weller saying goes, "We invite you to drink it in a wheated way." Cheers to that.

Assignment 2
Passage 1:
“Rip’s heart died away, at hearing of these sad changes in his home and friends, and finding himself thus alone in the world. Every answer puzzled him, too, by treating of such enormous lapses of time, and of matters which he could not understand: war—Congress—Stony Point!—he had no courage to ask after any more friends, but cried out in despair, “Does nobody here know Rip Van Winkle?”
Rewrite:
Every answer puzzled him, too, by treating of such enormous lapses of time, and of matters which he could not understand: war—Congress—Stony Point!—he had no courage to ask after any more friends, but cried out in despair [desperation].
In this passage the word despair is used to describe Rip calling out with a feeling of lost hope. He lost hope that the people had forgotten who he was. Changing the word to desperation, changes the way we perceive how he feels as he says this. Desperation means a surrender to hopelessness. Instead of feeling the loss of hope, Rip surrenders to his emotions and cries out in desperation for them to remember him. As stated in the beginning of the passage, “Rip’s heart died away” which means he was feeling the loss of hope, hence the word “despair” being placed to describe his cries. Desperation is used to show he has surrendered to a state of hopelessness.
The original word has a precise meaning because it shows how distraught Rip is to not be remembered. Rip is calling out to the people to remember his name, to remember him. In his efforts to do so, you can sense the feeling of hopelessness in his cries. The word despair is used to create a sense of empathy from the readers. As a reader reads this passage, we are shown through the word choice how Rip feels in that moment. His cries in despair, shows the reader how he truly wants to be remembered. He fears this is not the case and he is rendered to a state of despair. He is desperate to be remembered after all the people they discussed previously were remembered as being deceased. Rip wanted to be remembered by the people, and surrendered to the feeling of despair out of fear they had forgotten him.
Passage 2:
“There was a drop of comfort, at least, in this intelligence. The honest man could contain himself no longer.—He caught his daughter and her child in his arms.—“I am your father!” cried he—“Young Rip Van Winkle once—old Rip Van Winkle now!—Does nobody know poor Rip Van Winkle!”’
Rewrite:
There was a drop of comfort [relief], at least, in this intelligence.
In this passage the replacement of comfort with the word relief signifies how Rip feels to hold his child and grandchild in his arms. He is relieved to see his child and grandchild in his arms. Relief describes how Rip feels at ease from any troubles he has encountered. Holding his grandchild in his arms all his troubles and challenges he has faced ceased to exist. He simply feels relief in the presence of “Young Rip Van Winkle”.
The original word, comfort, is used to describe how Rip feels a sense of comfort as he is holding his child. After almost being forgotten by the people, he feels comfort in knowing an important person, his child, knows who he is. He is comforted by this event because he is now remembered as old Rip Van Winkle, the grandfather of young Rip Van Winkle. This gives him comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in the hearts of his family. The word comfort is used in a beautiful way because it shows how at ease he feels with his family in his presence.

I'd like to do this with my next gen kiddos: Eli, Jolene, Josie, Halia, Ezekial, Ephriam, Arion, Caige, Ellianna, Ryan, Colton or you can send me for whatever character you want.
Send me a character name+ a word and I will write a drabble based around it!

Adam blinked as if he were fighting back tears. His voice was low as if he were just speaking to her.
“You, Clare, have taught me that two people joined together with respect, trust and open communication can be far stronger and happier than each could ever be alone. You are the strength I didn’t know I needed and the joy I didn’t know I lacked. I choose to spend the rest of my life with you.”
