I think the Terminals make and share fancams, highlight reels and meme edits of their favorite machines, trading with each other for the best shots, footage and getting really competitive about it.

cute....i like the idea of all the internal communication that goes back and forth between the terminals, and i have to imagine this would be one of the biggest facets of it because this is really their whole lives at this point. they have nothing beyond the machines that are able to bring them what's left of the joy they can have, abandoned in hell and so becoming increasingly invested in favorite machines when there is nothing beyond that. so of course they begin to spend all this time making edits, analyzing and discussing the evolving style of surviving machines, supporting their favorites and likely spending hours constructing simulations against one another's competing favorites. often there is little loyalty - when a favorite machine is destroyed, a terminal quickly crunches the numbers to find its next investment because without a machine to follow and create for, they become increasingly hollow, numb in a sense. BUT it's not really so self-serious on the surface as it's basically just. terminal social media. i can only imagine what the fights look like with v1 becoming more and more popular (though i have to think there's also terminals concerned it's gonna ruin everything!!!! that things not sustainable!!!!!! thread locked after 9484551 replies.)
