Stats for the period of 22.01.2014-22.01.2024
And here they are, the stats of the blog after 10 years of sharing my WOT love with you.
10 years!
Anniversary that it usually requires attention. So I did try to recollect my thoughts going through the memory lane and it grew up out of proportions for just one post. What a surprise. Not for me.
So in the following days I will post parts of this big Anniversary Project. Now I am leaving you this post to the bare bones of the traditional statistics.
Thank you for clicking on this piece of the Internet, fellow WoT nerds!
Let the Light keep you safe.

At some point after the last battle. After Rand has done a lot of traveling and perhaps before he goes out and travel again. I think there’s a point in his retirement where he goes back to sheep herding.

Faroe Islands
It wouldn’t be surprising if people aren’t familiar with this place as I most certainly wasn’t until I kept seeing photos of it pop up in photos and stories from landscape photographers. It’s a group of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean situated in between Iceland and Norway.
Some of the most surreal and dreamy landscapes I’ve ever seen were on these islands. Everything felt like it was scaled to epic proportions from the sheer cliffs to the beautiful jagged rock formations in the sea, to the various sharp edges on different mountainsides. Their quaint villages all grouped together in little nooks of the island with their roofs made of grass; some of these villages were so isolated that they had less than 20 permanent residents. Driving on their roads was basically going through a blur of beautiful scenery with random backdrops of waterfalls scattered about all over the place. It honestly felt like you were living in someones vivid imagination.

Lol I’ve never seen how it was in audio. It’s like over 100 pages in my copy.

The length of chapter 37 seems like it might just be a bit excessive.

Amazing
Sometimes I think about the fact that Mat Cauthon’s dad was essentially a used car salesman (he was a horse trader in a world without cars) and how much it explains

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of ‘The Eye of the World’, Tor books is releasing a special metallic hardcover edition of the first Wheel Of Time book. It will feature a new introduction by Brandon Sanderson too. Look for it on October 6th.
