Yeah. Kinda fucked up that this fandom will do Olympic level mental gymnastics to villainize a fucking 11 year old girl for not understanding the menial and intricate inner workings of this fucked up web of politics when it’s the. Idk. Adults? You know, the ones with several decades in some cases more experience in this world than a fucking child? Who are running this whole shitshow of a kingdom? And I think it’s lost on everyone that Joffrey is also A fucking child when he made the decision to drive by Ned. Killing Ned (as in literally swinging the sword—fine, whatever, giving the command, since none of you fuckers know what reading between the lines or context is in any sense of the word so I have to be as fucking specific as possible) was widely agreed upon to be a bad fucking decision by any character who matters. But you can’t take it back, so everyone had to move forward, whether that meant damage control, or using the opportunity for advancement whether politically, personally, or financially.

Ned’s fate was sealed when he left Winterfell. It was going to happen one way or another. It’s not Sansa’s fault. It’s not even Cersei’s fault. We can point fingers like crazy and speculate until the world combusts.

Also, Ned was already “dead” when he decided to confront Cersei with his knowledge about the true parentage of her children.
