i don't mean to complain about free food because i am grateful to be eating but the problem with thanksgiving is that 1000000 churches wanna give us canned goods but nobody can give us any perishables. which is fine, i understand the difficulty in both obtaining and passing out perishables, but we quite LITERALLY have over 30 cans of green beans and corn combined and almost no meat to eat with them. like 1 frozen chicken breast (this did come from a food bank to be fair), a pack of bacon, and a kielbasa. this is nobody's fault and i'm not ungrateful or mad about it or anything. but it is a hilarious situation to be in. we're quite literally giving out canned veggies to every friend and family member we know simply bc we don't have room for them all. we gave a bunch to my mom's church last week and then today she came home from church with a box of food they gave out to the less fortunate of their congregation and can you guess what was inside. those very same green beans. does anyone want some. can i email them to you
