that travic scene had me crying oh my god. and theo is interim captain??? after everything travis said, that he's not eating or sleeping, i know he looked happy at the end of this episode but i just know this is going to trigger him and the exhaustion from the mayor race is going to build up and he's going to have a breakdown... and vIC BETTER BE THERE FOR WHEN IT HAPPENS

I was not expecting that episode to turn out the way it did with all those flashbacks (I was so confused until Emily gave us a timeline) but it was actually really nice to see some of the missing stuff we never got to at the time. Didn't expect the Marina bar scene to be part of the flashback but that scene was cute too. Loved hearing them talking about being moms, their families and Carina telling her she's going to be a good mom and how much Maya needed to hear that. 🥰
Definitely not happy the kiss seemed to get cut and once again we have an episode still of a kiss better than what ended up happening on screen. This is truly unacceptable considering we're in a 10pm time slot and Marina have yet to even have a decent kiss, never mind any kind of sexy scene. Really hoping that changes next week.
The Marina scene at the station was so cute too, seeing them all flirty and smitten and Maya just so excited at the idea of Carina being pregnant. 😍 And as sad as it was, I'm glad we got to see that moment between Maya and Vic where Maya expressed her sadness and frustration about how many times they've tried to get pregnant and it failed once again.
Maya on hormones was quite the sight too. 😂 "Because I'm a frickin' egg factory, Beckett!" was so good 😂
I loved everything involving Morris and showing Vic's importance to Crisis One and how she is always helping people and not getting that in return. The debriefing scenes were great and Vic finally reaching her breaking point was necessary and Barrett killed it. The Travic scene was so emotional and amazing 😭❤️ They were so long overdue for a scene like that and I'm so glad they got that this season.
The obsession with Ross and Sullivan continues to be weird and they were so cringe this episode. Ignored them for the most part but couldn't help but notice how Marina's kiss practically gets cut and then it leads right into their scene with plenty of kisses. 🙄
The promo for next week looks...intense. The Maya and Mason stuff is going to ruin me but in the best way. Hearing Maya talk about how Mason is hurting her and her community? Getting to hear Maya talk about it so openly? It's going to be so good. I can't wait!

Travic and any of these from the angst prompts: 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
A/N: I decided to do 6: “I think I’m broken.” For context, this takes place a little while after the bunk scene in 7x06.
-
“I think I’m broken.”
It’s a quiet murmur from Vic as they lay in the bunk together.
“Hey, no.” Travis protests immediately.
“I am, Travis. I’m broken and I-.”
“Hey, stop.” His hand comes to cup her cheek once again.
“Look…These past few years have been really, really rough for you. And you’re right, you have taken care of everyone, long before you ever became a firefighter. Vic, that is bound to take a toll on anyone. Especially after keeping it in for so so long.
But at your core? You are still that sunshiney, bright girl who has the biggest heart. You wear it on your sleeve and you will always be my favorite person. I will always take care of you. The good…the bad…everything. I will always be there, ok? Always.”
Travis’ monologue makes Vic sob once again. She crashes into him so hard he nearly falls off the bed with a strangled yelp. “Thank you, Trav. And you know the same goes for you, right?”
Travis nods into her hair. “I know, Vic. I know.”
Snuggled up with her best friend is exactly where Vic needs to be.

Top 5 Station 19 episodes
I got a couple of asks about this, so I decided to cheat a bit and make two lists: a top 5 of what I objectively consider to be the best episodes of the show, and then my personal favorites.
To the people who sent the asks: I'm sorry for taking so long! This was HARD. And also thank you! I love lists. This was so much fun.
Here we go!
Best episodes:
5. 7x05 "My Way" The 100th episode of the show highlights Andy's long journey to becoming Captain. Considering how underwhelming the scene where Ross promotes her in 6x18 was (seriously, what does she have against official conversations in an office?), the pinning ceremony provided a satisfying full-circle moment.
The Best: I know I'm biased but Maya really was the MVP of the episode. Was there for Andy, patched things up with Beckett, supported Carina... I'm just so proud of her. The Worst: I really felt Carina's storyline with the car accident added nothing. I would have preferred to see her at her doctor's appointment.
Tumblr media
4. 3x10 "Something About What Happens When We Talk" / 4x12 "Get up, stand up" Always considered these to be sister episodes. Both use therapy with Diane to deepen character development as the team deals with the aftermath of traumatic events.
The Best: Maya's session in 3x10 and Dean fighting back tears in Diane's presence in 4x12. Really powerful moments. The Worst: On a very shallow note, I wish we could have seen more of Carina's outfit in 4x12.
Tumblr media
3. 4x05 "Out Of Control" The team rallies to help a mother whose daughter has been kidnapped, leading to a confrontation with police officers.
The Best: The tension that builds during the last 20 mins. The Worst: No Carina.
Tumblr media
2. 2x15 "Always Ready" I'll never understand why Ripley had to die, it felt sudden and completely unnecessary. Why would you throw away such insane chemistry? but OMG what an episode.
The Best: the team coming together on top of the rig. The Worst: did I mention Ripley? still in mourning.
Tumblr media
1. 7x09 "How am I supposed to live without you" A big wildfire incident serves as the backdrop for high-stakes character drama. Add all the callbacks to previous moments, plus the added emotion of the show ending, and you have the most impactful episode of the series. It left us with intriguing possibilities that the finale, unfortunately, failed to deliver on.
The Best: That cliffhanger and the fact it actually focused on the characters and dynamics people care about—Marina, Travic, and Andy/Maya. The Worst: Did we need another Ross/Sullivan bed scene? no we didn't.
Tumblr media
Bonus: 7x04 "Trouble Man" Although, based on execution alone, this would be in the Top 5, all of the previous episodes on the list are considerably more important in the context of the show. This one is more of a transition episode.
The Best: Very inspired directing choices. The Worst: Marina's new house was really a downgrade, although I ended up kind of liking it by the end of the season.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
My favorites:
5. 1x04 "Reignited" The first Maya-centric episode of the series. And wow, she really became the most compelling character of the show just four episodes in. What a difference right from the start in how much care the development of Maya's character received compared to Andy's.
The Best: Maya being an amazing paramedic and saving the life of someone everyone else had already given up on. The Worst: Anything involving Jack and Andy. Sorry, but they had zero chemistry at the beginning of the series.
Tumblr media
4. 6x08 "I know a place" You know an episode will be good when Dr. Diane Lewis shows up—only exception being 5x04. It's painful but so worth it. Maya begins healing, Jack gets back to work at the station, and we learn a bit of Ruiz's background. All in all, a very solid hour of the show.
The Best: Maya & her 3 year old self The Worst: No Carina and too much Eli & Andy...
Tumblr media
3. 2x10 "Crazy Train" This is by far my favorite incident/ call in the series. I don't particularly love the ending, but everything else? perfection.
The Best: Maya in charge AND looking fine as hell The Worst: Gibshop.
Tumblr media
2. 6x14 "Get it all Out". This is 100% my comfort episode. There is something so playful about Maya and Carina as they were still finding their way back to each other. All of these Season 6 episodes are a treat. Also, "How's your arm, PAM?" will forever be etched in my brain.
The Best: Jealous!Maya The Worst: The directing choices are particularly poor.
Tumblr media
1. 4x14 "Comfortably Numb" Carina has to return to Italy due to her visa expiring. Maya is understandably freaking out and considering if they should get married. They fight, have sex, fight again, and ultimately end up getting engaged. Other stuff happens... but honestly, who cares?
The Best: The Marina scenes are allowed time to play out. It's obvious when actors enjoy the material they are working with. Every beat of those scenes feels authentic. The Worst: For some reason I always find the Ben OR scene to be super cringey.

My live thoughts on episode 7x05
Station 19 actively ruining the team is wow.
Where is Travic? You want me to believe that Beckett after everything that happened wouldn't maybe keep an eye on her? On the other hand the amount of care you can hear when Beckett ask her "Hughes" to bring her back? I am melting.
I still don't like Maya (probably never will) but Andy/Maya is truly the friendship that keeps on giving.
I could not care less about Sully and Ross and this whole marriage storyline. I am just so over it. They annoy me. I don't even hate them but this is dragging on so unnecessary for so long.
Ben self medicating??? Hello? What the hell is this storyline? Why is it here all of the sudden?
I love Jack apparently working in dispatch but would it have killed the show to maybe show how he got there? It's the last season and he is one of the main characters and we haven't gotten like anything since two episodes ago.
The amount of people that don't understand Beckett's frustration when Maya actively blackmailed him and funded his addiction is stunning. Let Beckett be pissed! But yeah he shouldn't take it out on the job. That is bad on his part. But then everyone has done that so I am not suprised. I just wish they hadn't gone that way because it is like slowly regressing his character development. Beckett showing that character growth? The whole talking it out? This is what I wanted. I needed to see Beckett talking to talk anyone besides Vic and Sully.
I love that they are showing Travis and Warren sort of in a parallel way to how Warren had to leave Travis injured. And Travis bringing him back? This is the team content I wanted to see.
I am also sort of living for the Warren/Sully friendship but I would just love some more focus on other relationships.
That scene with Jack/Warren and Sully? I am dying. Uncle Jack continues to live on and I can't wait for it.
Also Andy rushing to get her team? That is the shit I wanted to see. That is the captain she is capable of being. I just wish that they show this the whole rest of the season.
Vic obviously having a public breakdown will hopefully finally kick start things but even then, nothing of what she said is false or even bad. She has just been through a hell of a call, probably is traumatized or at least had some PTSD flashback and the legacy of her dead best friend is publicly being taken away even when it clearly has helped and supported probably hundreds of people.
As soon as I praise Andy she fucks shit up again and openly ignores warning signs. She is making the same mistake as all the other captains with not helping someone who clearly needs help. I can not believe we are seeing the same storyline multiple times and nothing changes. What is this shitty writing?
Also Theo's character flip flopping the whole seasons is just wow. What are they trying to do with him? I guess he is at least trying to reach out which is seemingly more than can be said about most characters.
I adore the flashback but I am still not Andy's biggest fan and I just wish we had some more I don't know, scenes of the OG family?
Overall I don't like the episodes this season. It just doesn't feel like a final season? Too many storylines for too less episodes, characters and relationships all over the place. Characters having sudden 180 with no development or explanation? The vibes since Miller's death have been off but I feel like since the end of season 6, they are just so weird. It almost feels like the set up is too split up the time and regress like 90% of the characters. Travis has been going downhill, they have ruined one of the most important relationships (Travic), random story arcs are dropped etc. It almost feels like a set up to actually resolve things in season 8.

06x17//All These Things That I’ve Done - weekly recap
- female firefighter gear for the win, including Maya smiling at Andy + Ross reaffirming that she’s not quitting aaand the little Vic and Andy dance break
- Classic Travic content ftw as well, because these two save a lot of episodes with their bantering
- unpopular opinion: Theo was right when he said “I let you dedicate time for your classes and the expansion of Crisis One” and Vic was wrong when she replied “oh, you let me?”. I mean, they’re in the middle of a shift? And Vic just decides to leave? I am fairly certain staffing is Theo’s job, and he didn’t need to give Vic any time off for her classes and much less for a random meeting with Diane? That being said, I understand that Vic is tense in regard to Theo, but Theo was absolutely right about that one
- Carina’s friends are back, and that’s always a good time! Just like it was nice to see Marsha again for a second
- Sullivan wanting to be captain again. The nerve. THE NERVE. Anything else I could say about that would get me thrown into jail.
- Gosh, do I love the friendly bantering and bickering between Andy and Theo, I hope we get to see more of that in the future
- Theo was right about not sending anyone into the car wash until all power was cut off, and what Andy did was quite frankly reckless and could have cost one of their lives - they’re darn lucky the worst that happened was Maya going for a spin and that beam falling onto the guy’s shoulder. The only thing worse about this, is Sullivan trying to pit them against each other and thank goodness Andy called him out on that
- Kitty Dixon is a national treasure, I said what I said! She is a prime example of a villain done right
- Ross threatening Dixon has to be the funniest and best thing, I stg
- Sullivan saying “We owe people the common decency of not lying to their faces” - totally fine, nothing to see there
- Ross just fixing dude’s knee was metal af, I said what I said
- I feel sorry for Theo getting dragged through the dirt alongside Andy and Sullivan, simply because they thought it would be a fun idea to disobey orders. And I feel sorry for Ross, because she realizes there’s no way she can make a good choice after seeing them argue like that
- I cannot fucking believe that after all of this, Andy would so easily forgive Sullivan, As if he didn’t screw her over hours earlier, I mean what the hell?!
- Speaking of Sullivan: He admitted to knowing that lying was a major trigger for Andy, and he STILL went ahead and lied TO HER FACE about his relationship with Ross. I really cannot deal with this shit any more, I am tired of his bullshit
- Eli. Oh, Eli. Gotta hand it to him that his cracked voice and tears did things to my heart that I’d rather not admit. I’m here for this pairing, that’s all. I’m just a useless queer, okay?!
- Beckett and Vic - I feel like there’s too much to say about this arc within a recap, so maybe this requires a longer, separate post. Let’s just say that Vic was being a tad reckless, which is very much on brand for her character, going to Beckett without backup or a backup plan, but they understandably went for the drama with this. Ironically, the scene that broke me the most (apart from Vic in the car afterwards) was the one with them playing Basketball, simply because this brief moment of joy felt so incredibly heavy, knowing it wouldn’t last long. They did a freaking brilliant job with that, truly. And no, Vic is not okay and yes, Vic does need help, and I am hoping we will get there, eventually, because oh boy, well girl, does she need some help

Top 5 Travic moments and why?
i thought you'd never ask... these choices change every day but currently:
shower scene (4x01)
genuinely anyone who knows me knows that this is my favourite scene. i think it has just the right balance of comedy and softness. it has the first direct 'i love you', the hug is amazing and both travis and vic's heart eyes during the scene? ohhh i cry every time. it really shows that travis can be stuck in one single thought for ages, not being able to see another side, but when vic is there, she can get him to think differently. shower scene supremacy
2. the bunk room scene (7x06)
i rewatched this scene yesterday and it is simply perfection. season 7 was not good to them (7a specifically) but oh my godddd having this wonderful resolution after vic had a breakdown in front of everyone was just perfect because I'm not being funny, if this scene happened with someone other than travis i would have been livid. how intimate it was... it wouldn't have worked with anyone else. its no secret that travis knows vic. travis knows vic more than anyone, he knows her more than he knows himself sometimes. he knew that she was hurting way before anyone else did. he knew that after her breakdown she needed some weird analogy, some comedy, but she also needed to know that she could 'be the baby' and get taken care of. his soft voice as he spoke to her? lives rent free in my mind. 'i love you and i will always take care of you' is soooo important to me, and then the cheek rub, forehead kiss and the hug... i will never recover. travis, vic and their fans needed that scene.
3. the airport scene (7x10)
there has not been a single day since the finale aired that i haven't thought about travis saying 'so as it turns out, my life is wherever you are'. that scene, their whole arc in the finale eps, was the perfect ending to travic's story. travis realising he's stuck, having vic ask him to move to dc, saying no but later changing his mind, leading to him surprising vic at the airport?!?!!? its just amazing. we all know travis isn't a very romantic guy, but I'm not being funny, him turning up at the airport and surprising vic is the most romantic thing he's ever done. they both need each other so badly and I'm so glad he realised before it was too late. and no, he is not 'codependent' on vic. there's a difference.
4. first meeting (4x09)
4x09 is a masterpiece of an episode, the best episode in the whole show in my opinion. the entire episode should be highlighted but their first meeting is just so special to me because we see two people meeting for the first time, not knowing that their lives are going to change forever. travis probably was gonna leave firefighting because it was too painful for him until vic showed up. vic made a damn joke, not even a funny joke, and she made travis laugh. she had no idea what the significance of that was. she had no idea she changed his life with one joke. it's just how travis assigning her a locker changed their lives. and now they're in dc changing the country. together.
5. slowdancing at marina's wedding (4x16)
travic went through a lot in season 4, individually and together. but how peaceful this scene was, it was the perfect send-off for the best season of travic there ever was. travis was prepared to put aside his grief and his anger for his best friend because he wanted her to be happy. 'i love you. you're my person. and you always will be' changed so many lives. she's his person. no guy, no fight, no job will ever change that.
honourable mentions: travis taking vic to see ripley for the last time (2x15), travis waking up from the nightmare (6x12), all the travic scenes in 2x01, vic reassuring travis that she's okay after her electrocution (5x05), suuushiiii for breaakkkffaaasstttt hug (7x10)
thanks for reading and pls feel free to discuss in the comments!!!

If st19 was to ever get renewed would you want them to cut some of the old characters and add some new ones? Or keep it the same? Or cut some and focus on a few? Or something else?
I think the cast would definitely have to be trimmed down a bit. It felt overcrowded from Season 5 on and while it's definitely not as bad as Grey's, there's still just too many characters and not enough time to be giving all of them meaningful storylines. There's a few characters that just simply don't add anything productive to scenes and the show would be just fine without them.
My feelings on Jack are pretty clear by now but I always thought his storyline should have ended with Inara in Season 4 and he should've left with her and Marcus. They spent all season having his character finally develop and get out of old patterns only for it to not mean anything in the end. It didn't really make sense when you think about what they did with his character afterwards...the same toxic cycle and inserting him in other character's storylines where he didn't belong. I know they essentially ended up writing him out by Season 7 anyway but the whole way they went about his character from like Season 5 on just made zero sense to me.
Theo and Beckett had no business still being involved as much as they were in Season 7, I think most people agree on that. Especially once Theo left 19, did we really need to see him do his independent work? Absolutely not. And Beckett's storyline with his drinking and getting help for that most certainly should have ended in Season 6 when Vic helped him and he left to get help. There was no reason to bring him back again to give him this big redemption storyline...if I ever saw Beckett again it would be way too soon.
Ben has been another character who has just been tedious and boring to me. He has the same storylines over and over, switching back and forth from one career to the other...I guess in theory if the show came back he'd probably stay on Grey's now anyway so it wouldn't matter but would definitely take him out of the equation as well.
I think focusing on Andy, Maya, Carina, Vic, Travis, Sullivan and Ross would be good and is enough to give each of these characters decent screentime and storylines. If they wanted to keep Andy and Jack together then I guess he could pop up every now and then still too but honestly if it were up to me I'd just want to see a Marina/Travic type of show now anyway because the rest of the characters annoy me on a regular basis 😂 but that's not a realistic option.

Daughter is down for the night, let's see if internet will allow me to watch and live blog the next episode.
Travis is so hurt and that just hurts me. I'm glad we are getting his backstory with Michael.
Okay so if Michael died in 2016 and it was 2009 at the start of the episode, then they were together for at least six years. So travis has been a firefighter at least 11 years at this point in the series. So what station was he at, and how did he and Michael meet. Im just curious because theo calls his buddy michael probie and then doesnt say travis name. Travis tells him name and instead of calling probie as well making me believe he had been either a firefighter for a bit longer than Michael or he is from a different station, because surely if they were all at the same station he would call him by name or maybe travis is from a different shift at the station.
I love this episode but it still left me with questions.
Also so i didnt even make it five minutes in, thanks internet let's restart it.
Also are they all in the same academy class because it sounds like it.
I'm not okay with travic being not a dynamic duo at the start, i love their friendship.
Hey look the captain has returned lol, also this sushi conversation i have had with my coworker. Leftover sushibis just wrong, fight me on this. Im glad maya agrees. Also i agree with sulluvan its from the grocery store, i dont eat my sushi from anywhere but a restaurant thats gross, and making it day old is worse.
Of course travis agrees with the sushi talk, they are truly two peas in a pod. Im surprised vic didnt ask to stay at maya and carina's for a few days.
I like theo and jack this episode.
Vic looks tripped out by travis showing her his scars lmao. Travis and this scar analogy is fantastic and makes me giggle, so dramatic.
I still dont know how i feel about these two drug addicts.
First commercial and i just want to add that the sushi scene i love, the family feel is wonderful.
Michael and travis are so cute. Also how long was theo a captain before michael died?
Listening to libby you can tell how troubled travis is by the look on his face. Its like he's thinking what if something were to happen to Hughes and we weren't in a good place.
Im glad jack came to talk to theo. It's good for them both.
Emmett you cutie. Im glad he is speaking truths to travis.
This proposal is so cute, the double proposal makes me so happy.
Travis needs to become a dad, he so wanted that future with Michael.
Its so cute that theo was there for the proposal and his best friends. Who stood up for travis at the wedding and who married michael and travis? Im headcanoning theo marrying them.
I totally get travis's feelings about theo in light of Michael's death but with how involved he was with the two i wish travis had found some way to heal with his friend sooner.
Vic trying to discuss Emmett, oh i love you.
This scene by the trees is so tough.
I bet they had so much fun shooting this even if it was difficult material.
So travis is in a apartment instead of his house with michael, howd that happen.
The things they are saying to each other are so hard. Everyone grieves differently.
Okay how long was theo a firefighter before he became captain. They were possibly in the academy in 2009, he was training for lt in 2010 and in 2012 he was put up for captain. So it seems he was on the fast track like maya. Okay he was only at lt for 6 months with may he a bit longer than maya.
Though she definitely made better decisions as captain. Also i love that ripley put up for it and ripley is who told maya to become lt and that she'd be a good captain.
Theo's joke about dying in a fire is just wrong.
Theo did make a bad call like travis worried but his being green should be a reason to find forgiveness for him.
Im glad michael stood uo for his friend. Also travis asked if it was a good idea theo being michaels captain, not ours. That further leads me to believe that travis was at a different station. I really cant shake the thought that he was at station 19 by this point for the simple fact of capt hererra saying he hand picked all of them.
Its nice that travis is finally talking to vic about his anger and sadness over michael, his grief and apologizing for his comments about ripley.
Okay so based off the past episodes for the characters, gibson and miller have been at the station longer than andy and maya and it appears travis has been as well. So that just has me questioning how long hughes has been, did we get dates when we learned how she became a firefighter, i cant remember.
Who notified travis that Michael was gone? He wasn't on scene otherwise he'd already have seen theo.
Theo was so good to own up to his mistake to the higher ups and travis.
The house vs apartment thing bothers me about station 19. Like maya's apartment always felt like a house and then we see its an apartment. Travis lived in a house with Michael and now has an apartment filled with Michael's things. Then Jack had an apartment or something in season 3 and now lives with martha and co. Then vic is basically homelessx had an apartment then jumped from friends homes. I dunno why i bothers me so, i guess it just feels so inconsistent, i dunno if that makes sense.
Ugh the ruiz and Gibson scene here is so good for them once again and im glad it helped marcus. Im sad marcus wont be a part of jacks life anymore.
Theo why did you decide to talk to vic about ripley? Not that it was a bad talk just curious what sparked it.
Travis im so proud of you, this talk here is so important for your healing. Vic i love your joke. Yay my travic is healing.
Okay so hughes was probie in 2016 after michael died. Ugh i need to know more about travis time at station 19 before during or after whatever michael died. Also when did andy and maya graduate im blanking on the year.
Travic's first scene at the station together is so lovely.
Ugh travis's phone call is so rough.
So travis cant vacation very well either, no wonder he told maya to enjoy her trip with carina in sesson 3.
The station 19 actors are so phenomenal. Such a wonderfully acted episode.
So as im sure my followers and anyone else reading this has gathered, i decided to do this live blog as one whole thing since the anon was upset by my previous posts. If you hate this and think i should go back to the other way let me know or if i should take their suggestion and creatr my own tag let me know. Basically if you are interested in my live blog please let me know what you think.
The anon has been weighing on me leading me to almost not want to finish my live blog of the series.

I didn’t know you took asks!
can you write you ideal tremmett/travic/S19 plot line?
Ugh! I have so many I didn’t know about till now! Also guys please don’t ask anonymously.
Ideally it would be Emmett and Maya centered. There’s a ton of crazy theory’s that Emmett and Maya may be related because Emmetts mother has never been mentioned and Maya’s relationship is strained with her own and they look so much alike. I love that idea! (Ik that would take to much character development on the writers part though)
I’d really like Emmett and Maya to deny it and be super angry at each other. Emmett (angry that he’s never met his mom and wants closure) Maya (cause she’s scared it may be true and she wasn’t there for her “brother” all those years) Carina and Emmett would get scenes together. Shed be super nice and supportive and it would be very sappy meanwhile Jack and Maya would be having the same conversation and Jack would say something like “I know what it’s like to grow up alone.” And then we’d learn more about Maya’s abusive father. I’d want to see Maya confront him or her mother about the “evidence” and say something like “Did you know?” I’d love to see bad ass Maya!
The whole time Travis is off and on calls with Vic and she’s just being super supportive. Obviously Travis is worried about his bunny rabbit and she’s just there to be the best friend. I’d also like Vic to get a plot line in this ep! Maybe a kick ass save but I haven’t thought this out. At dinner Maya and Emmett would be super awkward making dinner awkward and Ben would be like “So what happened the suspense is killing me” Maya would ask to talk to Emmett alone and they would have this huge serious conversation. Anyways Andy would also be on calls and she’s have like flashbacks to her own childhood and In my perfect S19 episode Robert would be on a sick day or out of state or just not there 🙂
That was fun to write thanks for the ask!

upon rewatch:
vic and travis were easily the best part of this for me. comedic genius, me thinks. them moving in together just makes sense. i been waiting. hope this means we get more travic shenangians bc it's all i want really. also excited to see a house set that isn't maya's living room and kitchen lol
oh & travis' DAD??????? what.
like it's not 1992 or even 2006?! the 'raging homophobe was gay all along omg surprise' plot? played out. i mean i def screamed when travis revealed his grindr secret was his father(!!!)—(let me be your daddy? nooooshshakakakdh!!!) but it's the 21st century let's wisen up w the tropes abc.
very interested 2 see how they... deal with all that though. hope it doesnt get home of phobic :)
but yeah poor travis; his dad was denying him, bc he was denying himself. and poor his dad(idk his name). and poor travis mom. just. poor montgomery family. they all need some deep healing lol
ok so maya.
maya... the tie was magnificent. im not a uniform kinda gal but that get up she wore to scold sullivan? whew!
didnt even hear what she was saying i was focused on the look. but yeah, v glad she told him off, it absolutely was his fault and now he's gotta start from the top. happy they didnt twist it around on maya somehow (as this show loves 2 do). other than that, she didn't do too much.
i mean, i would have liked to see she and carina communicate (call, text, messenger pigeon anything) but it's the premiere so ill give em a break. do hope the 0.002 seconds carina was on-screen isnt, like, an indication of screen time to come. it's not like they promoted stefania(series regular baby!!) and dont have a storyline or plan for carina(or their relationship)right? abcshondaland would never do that right. they would never do that. lol.
& andy's mom. kay i thought was going to be... hm just more. ofc post-partum and depression are really heavy and im glad theyre exploring the intricacies of motherhood and depiticing a mother struggling with the expectations/ limitations of parenthood. and i liked what she said about hardly anyone questioning fathers but mothers always having like extra pressure or whatever. it is %100 a double standard. but im also dead? like she really up and left andy for good and told her husband 'tell her i died idk. but im out xo' lmaoooo.
interested 2 see where they plan to go from there. and i want like actual scenes and not flashbacks. i think we've moved past disjointed storytelling in the 4th season of greys anatomy spinoff: station 19. but maybe that's just me.
jack. my boyyyyyy. hope we get to see him be mentally well this season lol. him and inara(?) are sweet. but, like...can he just take some time to understand and reflect on himself/get better before he dives head first into another relationship? bc she has a kid and the fall out from them rushing into this would be Not Good.
dean... lol.him and sasha aka offbrand vic. pleaseeee. he needs to free this girl he knows he dont want her!!
ben and bailey!! actual adults and only ones w sense on this show lol. love them.
all in all, it was fine.
didnt love the pandemic storyline. but i do get it, they're essential workers, it just makes sense. and so far it's been explored carefully/sensitively so i hope the rest of the season follows suit.
