in theory i could have developed a drinking habit back when going to concerts was a thing because almost every single concert venue i ever went to served alcohol but i Did Not for the sole reason that i dislike spending money and was good at smuggling my own intoxicants into the venue for free

#this has been a self related post #intoxicants is a word which here means my typical assorted pills that i kept in a coffin shaped drawstring bag that i made myself #i used to sneak them in by hiding them in my shoe but too many capsules of kava broke that way #so then i decided to see if i could hide them in a wrapped up pair of leather gloves and bring them in that way #i did a test run of that by bringing in the wrapped up gloves with nothing inside them into the venues i went to #(the ones where they searched your stuff anyway)#nobody EVER unwrapped them #after getting inside the venue i would go into the bathroom and get the bag out of the gloves and put it in my pocket #usually i would put the gloves on too but sometimes i wouldn't because i soon found that leather gloves + sweaty venues don't mix #and the high concentration of people combined with my furious headbanging meant that i was always sweaty #i seldom even got high because sometimes i would take too much dph by accident and it was never fun #the time i met that guy at a deafheaven show who was learning swedish because he liked Dead and who i went to some concerts with thereafter #i had taken too much dph and mentally went 'FUCK this is a great conversation but i wish i HADN'T TAKEN THAT BENADRYL'#anyway that's just. the way things were #quite possibly the way they'll be again #alcohol /#drugs /#jude does music things #or did rather. but yknow
