Okay ultrasound and blood work are done, we've smoked a cig and downed an edible, treated ourselves to pumpkin cream cold brew from the one unionized stbucks in town, and picked up lunch, we are baseline stable. time to go back to the office and pretend like we're doing our job for the next three hours.

#the tech was thankfully quiet the entire ultrasound instead of making thoughtful noises to herself which i appreciated #but it will be at least a few days before we find out if things are worse off than initially expected and i need multiple surgeries #rather than just one #the medical burnout is hitting so hard this week y'all im. so. over. this. i dont know how my mother fought cancer into her 40s.#she fought this shit for 20 years on top of her other health conditions and im what five years in maybe ten #if you dont count just living with symptoms but five years of active recovery and treatment and im at my limit #if i see another doctor im gonna go postal #i mean im not cause i dont have a choice but jfc the medical burn out
