Kou Minamoto and his boyfriend with literal bad taste <3 What do you mean you want a sauce sandwich. You had all those scrumptious ingredients and you chose not one, not two but FOUR sauces???? No meat no veggies no nothing? Just straight sauce?

New headcanon that Hanako actively encourages Kou to make the weirdest food possible for him. It started off as a (self imposed) dare then somehow snowballed into him just doing it for shits and gigs as a weekly ritual. At first Kou was sorta apprehensive about having a hand in Hanako’s tastebud’s demise but it’s fun in a ‘boys will be boys’ kind of way. I'd imagine Hanako’s sense of taste is rather dull so the more terrible the taste or texture, the more memorable it is yk? Hanako is nothing if not committed to the bit!!

A regular exchange would probably be like:

“What cha got for me this week, kid?”

“Oh nothing…” Kou suddenly whips out a baggie, a wicked grin spread across his face, “Just some killer hot dog cookies.”

Hanako inspects the bag, observing the distasteful pink chunks of sausage in the sugary treat. “Lovely. I don’t think it’s gonna beat the takoyuckies though.” (It didn’t but the hot dog cookies left a lasting impact on Hanako, for he cannot taste either of those things the same after such a monstrosity.)
