what you already knew, plus one other
work toward a end-of-providence show, a "these are the technical skills I have" show. illustrations, oil paintings, ceramic, iron pieces. mb a restored painted dresser.
spend the following years, while taking classes, also making ceramic greenware, wax positives, developed from the illustrations. make and carefully keep sellable illustrations. make luminous landscape oil paintings. document all of them really well, make them in a way that they can list out yr technical skills.
when ready (financially, availablity, material), do a membership/residency at a ceramic shop & the steelyard. ceramic shop: fire and glaze all handbuilt greenware that's been waiting, throw as much as possible. steelyard: iron pours and MIG welding
in preparation for the show, make plushes and keychains to table, promote the show while tabling
RI: time of building a craft portfolio.
physically printed book of works that cover all the different technical skills I have (photo w title, medium, technical skills used). mailed to potential museum jobs. pieces that have MIG welding in them rather than trying to get/work as a welder?
