I won some shit off a local radio station, including a $25 gift card to a local grocery chain, and all I did was buy meat. About a pound of ground sirloin and 2 pounds of chicken tenders. For like 15 cents after the card. I'm set for months. I don't eat a lot, so I'm so stoked that I could get this shit for free. Now I can maybe eat a little healthier for a bit. Like, a zucchini is less than a dollar. An onion is about as much. Corn's cheap. I can make some pretty good shit for next to nothing.

#the state of america is that you can make $20/hr and still be starving lol #$25 in free food doesn't get you much so i just bought expensive stuff #i could have stocked up on canned food or something but that shit's cheaper than meat #it hurts me less to spend $2 on a canned soup than it does to spend $15 on a pack of chicken #there's a winter farmer's market every monday that i might hit up to see what all i can get there for cheap #i also found a teriyaki recipe i wanna try so now i don't have to worry about the cost of chicken #yeehaw #i love free food #i just wish groceries weren't so fucking expensive
