I enjoy the freedom in BOTW but I do wish there was some form of forced path in some regards. The choice to seek out the memories puts a damper on the game from the pov of someone who isn't used to LOZ games. I don't know much about Zelda and won't without the memories. But the game makes it optional to seek out the memories and idk it makes me not care as much about the ultimate quest if that makes sense?

#is this normal for loz games?#im not altogether opposed but i feel so much like the story is more how you make it #which is fine in some cases but i dont want to do all the heavy lifting #also i wish link emoted more that blank stare everytime the champions talk #at least something to indicate a connection had with them? idk #as he sees events memories come back so idk i feel like even a hinto of emotion when he sees #the spirits of these people he fought alongside 100 years ago would be nice #im being nitpicky
