for a moment, tama went quiet, until she bursted out into laughter. 

"you're funny! really!"

you didn't laugh however, waiting until tama realized that you weren't joking around. and once she did, that amused grin was quickly wiped off her face. 

"w-wait, you… you weren't joking!"

you softly shook your head, as tama seemingly got more and more confused with each second she thought about your confession. 

"we can't be together... you know that, right?"

she was, of course, right. you were aware of how messed up it was that you fell in love with her. but still, you can't decide who you fall for…
