i don't particularly find myself obsessed with like, interactions on my posts but something i do worry about is that i'm doing something 'wrong'
#rat thinks#i've been working on my self-esteem for a while now#and i've made some great strides !!#but i feel awkward b/c i really do ramble a lot about my self-ship#mostly because i have a lot of ideas and i don't feel comfortable posting art publicly (i'm still a beginner)#i actively try not to compare myself with others#but i am not immune to slipping up LOL#so i look at others' blogs and i'm like 'they mostly post art or short ideas'#and i wonder if i'm doing 'too much'#the social media interactions come in cause my posts or whatever will get 0 traction which is fine i have 1 follower LOL#but sometimes i worry that they get no traction because i'm talking too damn much and i'm not acting within proper social media etiquette#this kiiiiinda extends to twitter too ??#i'm just. i'm an artist but i'm still learning and want to be a little bit better before i entertain the idea of posting art#so rn all i have is Words and Ideas#idk i'm kind of rambling at this point. Sigh.#MAN the (black) fear of being perceived as 'doing too much' or 'being extra' is alive and well#something something trying to downsize myself so white people don't see me a threat. whatever.
