#gravity falls#the thing is- okay#so imagine the lines in ford's voice#and then he says 'oh that's not a bad idea' and suddenly you hear bill's voice behind it#and you realize that it hasn't ford at all this entire time#also the calm sections cutting into intensity- does that not make you think of ford losing his mind as he isolates himself?#as he hallucinates bill's presence wherever he goes and watches from a distance as his friend goes insane as well?#as he wakes up (horrified that he fell asleep to begin with) covered in mystery wounds? blood he isn't sure is his?#the slow but heavy beats breeding an unsettling atmosphere whenever bill is in control#the underlying piano being representative of ford#disappearing at some sections only to reappear quietly under bill's drone#loudly proclaiming the start of the song yet being entirely absent at its end
