also I watched TLM 2023 while on my flight back from singapore and the entire time during #That library scene where Eric is explaining about the different countries all I could think about was how THAT was the kind of Silvio that deserved the spotlight in his main route

#the silvio I knew and was interested in was a man who was so obviously and deeply devoted to his kingdom and people and brother #the silvio I know is one that is in love with the sea— the one place he is free from the restrictions of his life #free from the burden of his father’s expectations and disappointment #the silvio i know forms endless trade bargains and goes exploring with the merchant ships because he LIKES seeing all these different #kingdoms and their people and expanding benitoite’s connections. he so obviously wants to see his own country thrive and his people happy #the silvio we actually get in silvio’s route is a selfish miserable arrogant prick who never changes from beginning to end #like the absolute worst version of his character possible #i’ll die on this hill silvio’s route did him so dirty cybird needs to put out an apology video with tears for his character assassination #rant.txt
