Charlie has a deadbeat dad, giving her some pretty bad daddy issues. But also, her dad is supports her project and she hasn't made any contact with him, as he says, "She hasn't called you in years!", so Charlie is bitter toward him for no reason.

Charlie is the princess of Hell, living here her literal entire life, but she is still super naive to how this world works for some reason.

Vaggie's entire motivation through the series is being Charlie's protector, even getting a power ballad duet with Carmilla about how her entire existence feels like is just being Charlie's armor, but also, Carmilla sings a whole song to Vaggie on how she needs to "fight for love", completely rewriting Vaggie's original motivation

The reason why I won't ever care about bOoK pUrisTs is because most of you losers just hate Rhaenyra and every single time portray her as being unloved by Daemon. That's enough to make me know how much of an "intellectual" y'all are 🥱

Show!Daemon smashed his first wife’s head with a rock after having her be thrown by her horse, then tried to steal HER possessions (when she had living relatives and heirs and he could live with his own en his); he married Laena and had her know full well that, no matter what, she would never be as loved as his niece was; then boned with said niece in the beach where they had bid Laena farewell hours before and somehow found it more insulting that Vhagar had been ridden by Aemond (and the children had fought) than the fact that he had been getting laid while all that happened. He choked Rhaenyra out of sheer wrath and envy. Then, Book! Aemond takes Alys Rivers as a war prize after basically mercilessly finishing the whole Harrenhal and Strong lineage (her relatives). Though I acknowledge that Matt and Ewan are both handsome and sweethearts in real life, let’s not fiercely romanticise this two, shall we? Their characters are certainly very interesting, and we can acknowledge that! But don’t claw each other’s eyes just because people like / dislike one and the other.

Which do you like better Fire & Blood or House of the Dragon. While I like House of the Dragon I’m leaning more towards Fire & Blood.

Fire & Blood. I have a love-hate relationship with HOTD mainly because of how they handled Laena’s arc 🙃

IMO her death was the most traumatizing scene on the show. It is not feminist or cool to see some woman lighting herself on fire because she thinks her husband doesn’t care about her. I literally halfway checked out of the show after that🙃(I could literally rant about this all day, but I’ll end it here and say f*ck anyone who likes that sh!t).

The show was okay before then, had a decent setup, and could’ve been richer than F&B(since F&B is just a historical overview of things), but they dropped the ball in the second half.

Honestly, I feel like this is the case with most fans(liking F&B more than HOTD). However, they started hating HOTD way too late in the game(or at least Team Black only started panicking after choke gate because I remember them praising the show mainly until then and trying to silence anyone who said otherwise 🙃)

From episode six on the deviations have created a mess in terms of characterization:

Laena(his one light spot before Netty) being unloved by Daemon plus all the other bs he’s done makes him look like a psychopath incapable of love. So now you have people who are going to bemoan Daemon and Nettles’ romance and hate her because she appears to be an “exception”(never mind that they wanted Rhaenyra to be his exception and we see how that turned out 🙃)

Not killing Laenor in episode seven essentially makes all of Rhaenyra’s children bastards. Plus Addam claiming Seasmoke when Laenor is still alive should be impossible.

Not having Rhaenyra order Ser Vaemond’s death(one of the moments in the book which show you how utterly self-centered she is and just how much she does not value other's lives before the dance) will have some fans start to flip out if she does go dark.

Alicent still tries to reconcile with Rhaenyra past episode seven as well as having her be clueless about the Green Council schemes makes her look like a lost pathetic puppy(seriously why reconcile with a woman who doesn’t care about you or your kids) when she was one of Team Greens key architects in the books🙃

I don’t know how they are going to handle season two(and beyond), but I don’t think it’s too late to salvage things(ex. have Daemon apologize for neglecting Rhaena and try to show him forming a relationship with her, kill off Ser Laenor, stop making Rhaenyra into some wronged woman broken down by the patriarchy, show that Alicent has some agency and no more creepy foot scenes 🤢) 🤷🏽‍♀️

Clockwork: I KNOW THOSE TWO CHEATED AT CARDS! So I figured stealing one of their little humans and moving him into a nearby dimension a few years ahead would drive them up a wall. They have no power there since the timeline is my jurisdiction! Danny: And I wouldn't let anything happen to Subject 514A, meaning that the world would accommodate the Ghost King and the child under his care. You're using me a pawn in your petty game. Clockwork: You're still going to take that boy and raise him. Danny: Yeah, because I have the body to be a perfect DILF, but that's beside the point! I mean if he's a clone would the orginal be in the new dimension? I’ve already said it, I’ll say it again, Mal du Pays is such a visceral and clever word to describe Siffrin’s Sadness. When I first saw it in game it genuinely made me pause like. Yes, it translates to homesickness. But it has the literal word for country in it. “Country sickness”. For a guy whose core problem is that his childhood, his culture, his country is missing. One could argue it’s a twisted pun. I’m obsessed with it.

once again thinking about jason as duke’s robin. he’s ~4 years younger than jason, and that puts him at 8-12 during Jason’s time as robin. that’s prime time to get attached to your local kid vigilante before your own life goes downhill.

and if we try to keep duke’s meeting with bruce in zero year + duke’s age (so he can remember the meeting and hold that conversation with bruce), he has to be around 8. if he starts following batman through the news at that time because of the mess that just happened, the robin he sees is probably jason. I’ve literally connected the dots
