Me and @barnespls were watching Canada’s drag race and they made a really good point about how French is so part of this show’s identity and by extension our Canadian identity when in American drag race (the main show) Spanish, which is spoken by more people in America than people speak French in Canada, is virtuallly non existent in the show unless the individual racer speaks it openly (many of the racers on the Canadian one do not and are still made to lip sync to French lyrics or speak French despite not knowing it)
