#small personal vent:#winter is coming and therefore it is hair-removal season for me again 🙃 fmllll#i'm not bothered by my body hair (specifically legs) when it's summer and i'm only wearing dresses anyway#bc then my legs are bare all the time and nothing is touching the hair#But If Clothes Touch The Hair!!! I Die!!!!!#like many autistic people i have various sensory issues but this is one of the worst of them#the sensation of clothing on my skin over body hair is one of the worst feelings i know#it makes me freak the fuck out mentally like mosquito bites do#it's like i just lose it#the sensation is SO DISTURBING my concentration goes down the drain and i get short-tempered and jumpy#but removing the hair is - although necessary - also such a huge fucking hassle#i just did my legs alone and it took a solid hour#exfoliation; hot bath; washing; drying; epilation; moisturizer#and that'll last me less than a week#grump grump GRUMP#in general being autistic is pretty cool but there are definitely several aspects i am Not Into#cosmo gyres#personal
