me remembering that one of the main characters of my book is an aroace guy and realizing that his experiences might have been MY experiences as an aroace and i never even noticed that:

ARE YOU REALLY????#Tadeu himself dated in the book and married the girl without even knowing he was aroace#to him she was a close friend he enjoyed kissing bc kissing is fun to him#the seggs? he hated. but society told him he had to do it in order for him to be a “man”#also he felt obligated to “satisfy” his wife#and they literally divorced bc she didm't feel “loved” by him. she felt like he would treat her the same way he treated his bff Juliana#(aka the book's protagonist)#and he did lol#and he only knows nowadays he's aroace bc his two kids are tumblr kids yay#but uhhh... yeah. maybe i relate more to Tadeu to just his asexual part#edit: Tadeu is also VERY adhd-coded. again he might have had an hyperfixation on Rosana and thought he was in love#damn it Tadeu
