Bought a scalp scrub yesterday, after weeks of despairing that my naturally wavy hair seems to keep falling flat (even when it’s humid which should be impossible).

Today I’ve truly struggled to properly comb my hair, and I’m delighted.

#it just proves that my regular shampoo has definitely changed formula and it's in the bin now #I'm using a shampoo and conditioner for curly hair now and this scalp scrub ties it all together nicely #that said - the store where I bought the scrub also used to sell my favourite soap #fiji green tea soap. brilliant stuff. the entire house smells of fresh green tea #but bc the store formula is to be completely vegan it means no bees wax in soaps which means mine can't be made and I'M SAD #was advised their new lemon soap #it's decent I guess #it's not artificial lemon #it's the proper stuff that you smell when you've just cut a lemon open #but my house doesn't smell of it :(#what a weird thing to want from something that's supposed to clean you #anyway #the scrub and the new lemon soap have brought back some joy to taking a shower #for a while with shampoos that failed and soaps that smelled like ironing laundry #the joy was just gone #I mean it's basic hygiene but I take my pleasure where I can alright #and fancy smells make me happy #it's why I have a lot of perfumes :)
