He finds you stumbling through the forest all on your own, clutching a teddy bear to your chest, crying and calling out for your mother.

At your age, you have not quite heard of the Crystal Lake killer. You only know that the grown ups kept saying how dangerous this lake is and to never to there. And now your family drove you here, made you get out of the car and just... sped off.

At your age, you are positively *tiny* to Jason. He kneels down in front of you and, remembering what his mother used to to, pulls an old, tattered hankerchief out of his pocket to wipe down your tear- and snot covered face.

"D... do you know where my mommy went, mister?", you ask miserably, but even your little mind knew that she wouldn't be coming back.

Jason can understand your misery all too well. At the same time, he is furious that your family would do this. So it's decided. The feared Crystal Lake killer has a tiny apprentice now.

The Sinclair Brothers

Lester finds you walking along the road towards Ambrose, a stuffed animal in one hand and an almost empty waterbottle in the other. You look terrible, like you have been walking around for days without food. Your clothes are dirty and torn and your hands have bloody scratches on them.

He quickly gets out of his truck and asks where you came from.

You sniffle and tell him that your family promised to take you camping, and they told you to walk ahead and find a good spot, and they would catch up to you. But they never did.

There is of course the concern that your parents may have ended up being victims of his brothers. But there hadn't been any new victims in the past few days.

So he takes you to Ambrose, sure that his brothers wouldn't put their hands on a small child. And they don't.

Bo immediately finds himself reminded of his childhood, being the one left behind, and takes a liking to you. They give you some of their old childhood clothes, and some food. Vincent takes you to the wax museum, to show you all of the cool things he and his mother made. He might even teach you how to paint and do wax figures yourself. And just like that, the Sinclair family gained another member.

Brahms Heelshire

It is a cold and stormy day, when Brahms hears a soft knock at the front door. And there you are, in completely wrong clothes for the weather, wet down to your skin and crying.

He takes you in, thinking that hey, your parents are probably gonna come looking for you soon, right?

Except they never do.

Brahms gives you his childhood clothes, so you don't catch a cold, and tells you about his routine and that he actually always wondered what it would be like to have a little sibling.

The Sawyers

While the Sawyers are less likely to take in a random child than the Hewitts, it is not impossible. Nubbins finds you wandering along the Texas roads in the blistering heat, your little head completely red and your hair sticking to your skin with sweat.

He takes you to Drayton's gas station, and they have a kind of wordless conversation. Nubbins points at you with a grin, while you eye the meat being grilled in the small room, and Drayton eyes your small, malnourished frame, and shakes his head. Then gives you another, thoughtful look.

"You hungry, lil one?", he asks.

"Yes, mister", you reply.

Drayton generously takes a piece of rib and puts it on a paper plate for you. And once you scarfed down the meat, he grins at you.

"And what if I tell you that that was human meat?"

Your young mind doesn't quite understand what he just said, or just assumes he is joking. "Uh... okay? It was yummy though."

"It really is, isn't it. Look, kid, if ya don't know where to go, ya can go with us."

Bubba is absolutely thrilled when Drayton and Nubbins come home with you. He immediately introduces you to his chickens, and wants to make you your very own leather mask. Oh you are gonna have so much fun together! Bubba always wanted to have a younger sibling.

How he'll take this is a matter of how they act.

Just two quiet timid little munchkadees and he shows a thumbs up.

But two little sly mischievous pranksters are a big no no from him. But let's go with that for the rest of the oneshot.

One was already hard enough for him but two?? He's gonna be breaking them spine and knees a little earlier... You can just imagine him sitting on a chair while two little children run around him and you can see the exhaustion behind his mask.

They can mess with him and ask him who is who and most of the time he gets it right or says idgaf. But if it's peepaw Michael he's a bit more willing to play along. Orr says idgaf too and points to whoever.

He doesn't necessarily hold those two but if they ask reeeeaaaallllyyyyy nicely he might. When he did though he thought it felt weird holding two children in his arms and intended to drop them after 10 seconds but seeing how happy and excited it made them he extended it to a few minutes. (And moved around the house a little since they asked really nicely about that too.)

If they get into an argument and get mad at each other and they turn to him for help he's panicking inside because he doesn't know wtf to do. He just grabs whatever their favorite food or drink is and hopes they make up.

One moment he goes into another room and comes back to find the twins throwing things around and screaming and he glares at them and gave them a little bonk on their heads and made them clean up.

If he finds out the twins had a bully he's ready for bone breaking or stabbing but if he also finds out the twins are tormenting the bully back for revenge and he just- he's so proud. (He came up to them and gave them a thumbs up.)

Overall he doesn't really love it nor does he really hate it. And he wouldn't say he wishes one of them to disappear cause he doesn't. I guess he kinda loves likes the both of you equally.

Sinclair brothers

Bo looks at the both of them together sometimes and smiles because they lowkey remind him of him and Vincent when they were younger. (The children twins get along wayy better) he tries not to mind and lash out when they're acting especially chaotic but you know the romantical relationship between him and anger so he yells at them. But then he later feels super guilty and tries to apologize with ice cream or something. Actually he's pretty lenient on them cause there's two of them and in his sense that means if one is in trouble then the other one will get them out of it. Boy was he wrong. He found them both wailing in a ditch with leaves as bait somewhere that they dug up because they wanted to catch animals for food but they forgot it was there. He also bonked them in the head after lifting them up. You can see him a lot with the twins and lure tourists in like 'heh... Yes come follow these two innocent looking kids...' He would rather die than admit it but he really likes having the twins company. He acts so nasty and detached but yk he would be so hurt if they didn't talk to him more than 10 times a day. Whatever tourist that picks on them or acts extremely suspicious around them would be dead before the sky turns deep blue. I bet he lets them hang on his arms and turns so smug when they comment about how strong their 'uncle' is. Wait did they say uncle? He accidentally dropped them. And crode later. Overall he likes them more than he could ever admit.

Vincent he loves watching them play (not in a weird way ofc) he watches them and sighs because he highkey wishes Bo would be a bit nicer to him sometimes. And for some reason he is a little nicer when the twins are around. When days are getting long and there's nothing to do he's playing with them, whether it be tag or dressing up in tutus he's fine with it. He gets worried a lot when the twins are on their own. Instead of a mindset like bo (and Lester) he thinks what would happen if BOTH of them get in trouble. He doesn't want to find two dead bodies somewhere so he tries to keep a close eye on them. A scenario where the twins are also running around in circles around Vincent sitting in a chair except he doesn't mind it and smiles. Contests where the twins draw Vincent and makes him choose whose art is better but he doesn't have the heart to choose which are inevitable. Anybody who looks at them weird? Gone. Not even wax just gone. Treats them like they're his own (he is their father figure). Since lester isn't always in ambrose Vincent does most of the raising since Bo apparently is always doing something (he tries.). So Vincent is the twins favorite and always comes to him for help unless it's about mechanical or such. Probably holds the twins in his arms a lot and scurries or runs around because it's so cool for them to look at everything from the height of 6'1 - 6'ft. His soul almost leaves him when they play and run around in the house of wax. Vincent thinks it's kinda hard handling twins but he loves it either way.

I said before Vincent was their favorite but boy do they get excited when they see Lester. He doesn't always come but he doesn't always decide to not visit. To be honest because of the twins he visits more frequently oh and they loveee jonesy. And for the record he's the fun-est and also funniest so when he pulls up with them truck the twins will be yelling, "omg look uncle Lester came!!!" Bo will give shit. Not to the twins but to Lester for some reason. The whole day you'll be spending time with Lester and they play stuff like who can hit the most animals with uncle Lester's car. (Sorry they don't actually play that.) But hes convenient because when the twins are refusing to do Or eat something and knowing how competitive chaotic kids are, Lester does the good ol' who can eat/clean the fastest and also does it with them so it'll be more fun. And he's carefree too and then he also finds the twins somewhere in trouble. I'm imagining a scenario where he tells a creepy tourist to get in a car and then he was driving really fast around a cliff and then he opens the tourist's side of the car door and roughly pushes them off the cliff. They were there to witness it all and honestly they were high key rooting for Lester. The kid twins get into mischief with Lester a lot and Bo finds it so annoying and Vincent is just concerned. Them and Lester are literal partners in crime. They work together like legitimately. Also when the twins get mad at each other Lester makes them apologize to each other and then treats them with food or some activity for doing so. Because it's important to apologize <3. Overall, he loves em' and they love him.

Bonus, jonesy!!: did I mention they love jonesy? Everytime the kid twins aren't playing with Lester they're most definitely being playfully chased by jonesy. Ofc she catches them every time and also gives them little kisses on the cheeks :,). 🩷🩷🩷 jonesy is just a natural at everything that's why she got along so well the first time they met with the kid twins, in fact she's the head master and wears the pants in the sinclair family. She's extremely vital. Someone acts mean to one of the twins? The other one and jonesy team up and start beating the person. Somehow they three team up and torment the other Sinclairs and the brothers have no idea how but they allow it. Overall 100/10, she's their second partner in crime.

Bubba sawyer

He loves taking care of them! Just whenever he can he plays with them. Wayy too attached to the twins since they're really the only ones who treat Bubba like an actual human being.

Will get so stressed if they mess up somewhere in a room because Drayton will yell at both the twins and Bubba. (The twins shit talk about Drayton and let Bubba on it too but he gets nervous.)

He also runs around the house holding one twin on his arms and one on his back. The twins love pulling that "guess who is who" Question and watch as Bubba struggles and fidgets as he tries to figure out.

There isn't really a quiet day with twins chasing each other but Bubba loves it. It doesn't make him feel alone. As much as he dislikes it, the twins help and lure victims in and also watch the brutal killings. If they insist it doesn't really bother them that much then he'll be put a little at ease.

He gets the big sad when the twins come crying to him after Drayton yelled at them for acting like the kids that they should act like. Knowing Bubba has a soft heart he can't really do anything other than comfort them physically by stroking their hair/heads.

He tries his best to keep them safe at all times knowing how dangerous this can be if the victims get smart or lucky. Overall he loves them to death and he wouldn't have it any other way.

But when you tell him your pregnant, you're shocked at how scared he becomes

Of course, he doesn't show it visibly, but you know your husband and you can tell when he's nervous about something

Eventually, when he starts trying to pull away from you, you corner him and make him talk

Some yelling and fighting ensues but he caves, confessing he's scared he wouldn't be a good father. I mean, he didn't exactly have the best role model and he didn't want you or your babies to suffer for it

But you reminded him you were in this together and he'd relax a little

You had twins, because of course you did, but this only seemed to make Bo all the more anxious

He didn't exactly... know what to do with a baby? He'd never really been around infants so he's looking to you for help on this one

When they're a bit older though, he'll let them hang out in the auto shop with him when he works

One day you come home to find him asleep on the couch with the twins curled up on his chest and you just melt

He's a good dad and a good husband

VINCENT SINCLAIR

Vincent was shocked you'd said yes when he proposed

He didn't consider himself attractive in the slightest but you said yes?!

I mean, you were stunning, he'd stared at you constantly even when you were dating and it certainly didn't stop when you were married

Bo and Lester were definitely jealous, teasing him to see him get flustered over how lucky he was

Unlike Bo, when he found out you were pregnant, he was excited

Nervous, absolutely, but everyone is nervous when they're having their first kid

He's so wary for you though, nearly had you on bedrest the entire pregnancy because he feared the worst

One time he caught you standing on a chair to reach something and he nearly had a conniption

But the twins came - because of course they were twins - and were healthy and beautiful

Vincent is so gentle with them, like they're the most precious things in the world to them

He makes little wax sculptures for their room to decorate it

Definitely encourages and supports creative hobbies for the kids! He gets them finger paints and crayons and the like

You've woken up in the night because of the babies crying but Vincent is already up, ready to help

Vincent's mastered carrying them both with an arm each and its very cute

Sometimes you catch him holding one of the twins and humming softly to them as they sleep in his arms, just swaying together in the kitchen

You feel so lucky but he feels even luckier to have you and your kids

LESTER SINCLAIR

Lester is by far the most... stable? So you'd been instantly drawn to that about him

He'd always get so flustered, bringing you flowers and blushing like a madman while you were dating

It took him the longest to propose to you though, he always felt like you were waaaay out of his league

Visitors came and would gawk at you and he'd feel a twinge of jealousy at the reminder that yeah, you could have anyone

But he did propose to you and you said yes because you wanted him, not anyone else

Neither of you had any shame in PDA, often holding hands or kissing in front of visitors

You lived with Lester and Jonesy in a little house on the outskirts of the town, surrounded by trees and very peaceful compared to the horrors of Ambrose

It had actually been Lester who suggested having a kid or two running around. After all, he had two older brothers so he was used to that business in a house with lots of people living in it

Over time, the two of you would have two kids, but they weren't twins

Lester was a good dad too! He was attentive and loving but he didn't let them get away with too much

He'd teach them how to shoot when they were a bit older because it was a fond memory he had with his own dad

But at least he knew what not to do. Surely that counted for something?

Carrie:

Carrie understands what stuff you hate and what stuff you love/like! She looks out for you while you play on the playground, and she knows now that you don't like to socialize and you would rather play by yourself.

Carrie knew that you hated loud things or sounds, because you would cover your ears from those noises. Sometimes Carrie would call out your name, and you wouldn't respond to her so she'll rub your back or lightly tap your back. Carrie would then walk to the kitchen with you and make your favorite food!

Hewitt family & Sawyer family:

Living with a cannibal family is sometimes scary for you and okay. Most times the whole family is busy doing their own things, and sometimes they'll argue about things.. Mama Luda knows that you cover your ears if someone is too loud, so she'll make everyone shut up, or she'll hit every single one of them (She did it a few times with her wooden broom, which left red marks on some of them 💀.)

Except for Thomas and Bubba, these two would try and make you laugh or happy! Nubbins and Chop-top would mostly likely bother you, because apparently these two have nothing else to do, and just bother you without a care in the world. You'll sometimes be with Monty and his little dog, just only petting the dog if you're bored or playing with his little dog too! You'll thank Drayton for cooking his delicious chili every time he cooks it! Hoyt is something else, he'll yell at you for this and that has never even done before. Until, Mama Luda will start beating him and make him do something else instead of screaming at you. You love hanging out with Mama Luda, because she loves to give you hugs and kisses on the cheeks and forehead!

Jason:

Jason would see you do stuff repeatedly with your hands or spinning around in circles, etc. Jason would try and calm you down with your meltdowns, he'll try hugging you, making your favorite food, or reading your favorite book to you! When it's camping day at camp crystal lake, Jason would always keep a look out of where you are. Jason would see that you don't really interact with people, just small talks here and there but nothing more than that. Jason is not worried about that at all with you not socializing with other kids your age or people that are older than you!

Jason gets really worried that you don't answer him, like you're staring at him while he's signing your name, so Jason would tap on you gently to see if your trance would stop. It did and you would kinda see Jason crying, because of how close he is and he would give you a big hug, while you will hear sniffles from him. Jason also knows what things and/or food that you love and what you hate!

Hannibal & Will:

Hannibal and Will know about the undiagnosed autism you have! Hannibal has seen your reactions with different types of smell and even food too! Will also see that you would avoid eye contact when Will would ask you things! So, these two would try and do things to help with your undiagnosed autism! For example, Will would buy you coloring pages and water color pages too! Hannibal would try and find you other calming activities, like toys that aren't loud for your ears or toys that can be really boring over time!

Hannibal and Will have put you homeschooled, because they have a feeling that if you are in a public school with your last name being the same as Hannibal's and if the FBI would find out about you, they'll take you away which they wouldn't want at all. There's been some difficulties with you not responding to your name, Will or Hannibal would tap you softly and make you do something else and would do the work later for your undiagnosed autism! Hannibal and Will would soothe you from your meltdowns you would have and make you a warm cup of tea that is great for your taste buds!

Sinclair Brothers:

You would always hangout with Vincent, because it's quiet and you love seeing Vincent do his work! (Vincent would make a spinning circle with his index finger, to tell you to turn your whole body around, because some of his work is not for you to see.) You love hanging out with Lester and Jonesy, because Lester would always try and make you laugh whenever you feel down, or Jonesy licking your face which also makes you laugh too! You still kinda think Bo is scary, but Bo would try and get things from people that are interesting or something in the house they owned when they were little.

Bo would give you Vincent's coloring pages with coloring stuff he has found in their toy boxes! He would also give you toys that are interesting for you too! So, little by little time hanging out with Bo, you would sometimes go with him and people would try and kidnap you even though they're trying to get you out of that scary place. Until, Bo would hunt them down with your cries screaming for Bo to help you from them. All three brothers would try and make time to play board games with you, or cook food for you too!

Norman:

Norman knows a lot of things about undiagnosed autism! He has a book or two that's about autism and other stuff too! So, Norman would examine what food you hate and food that you love to eat! Also, smells that would make you go into the other room. Norman would buy toys or things that are calming for you and that you wouldn't get bored while Norman is working!

Norman sometimes calls out your name for something or to eat, and he would see that you aren't reacting to your name being called. So, he would tap on you gently to come do some stuff or eat! Norman would also soothe you from your meltdowns that you have, he would hug you for a little bit until you feel better, or do things that you love!

Chucky & Tiffany:

Chucky and Tiffany would try anything to calm you down from your meltdowns! They would make you laugh, or do something that you love! Tiffany would give you kisses on your cheeks and/or forehead, she'll also give you a hug if you want hugs too! You would smile at Chucky to see if he smiles at you too, and Chucky will give his smile, because he sees people not smiling back at you which makes you not look at them until they smile at you!

Tiffany knows what food you love and hate, even smells too! She would always tell her husband what things to buy for you and other stuff too! If you're eating a snack at the table, Tiffany and Chucky would always sit with you and talk with you so that you wouldn't have a sad face! Chucky and Tiffany would always make time for you, and take you out somewhere instead of you staying in the house! They would take you to a fun place and a restaurant that you'll definitely love!

Hey! Can I request Bubba sawyer x reader where the reader is pregnant with bubba’s child and how the family (brothers and grandpa) would react to it and what they’d do (especially if the reader had been in the family for years and all love her very much, in their own ways).

I’ve been working on this request for so long since I had to put it aside for schoolwork. However, I had sometime to finish writing it so I did so I could post it. Hope you enjoy!

Bubba Sawyer

When you first announce your pregnancy to Bubba, his face lights up with excitement and joy. He’s jumping up and down, squealing happily. He’ll give you a big hug too. The hug is not as tight as Bubba’s normal hugs are so as to not hurt the baby. But God! He’s just so excited to become a father to your child! 

Although excited, internally Bubba is hiding his nervousness about becoming a father. He wants to be able to provide for you and y’all’s unborn child, but he worries about his abilities as a parent. If you notice his nervousness through his body language, please reassure him. He needs a lot of reassurance from you that he’ll be a good father to y’all’s child. 

Bubba’s protective instincts will kick in upon learning about the pregnancy. He becomes more vigilant, ensuring your safety within the Sawyer family home. He can’t be by your side 24/7 because he has chores and provides ‘meat’ for the family so he has you stay inside the house throughout the day when victims are around. It is the safest place for you to be. 

Bubba always cherishes quiet moments with you, as it’s often chaotic in the Sawyer household, often placing his hand gently on your stomach to feel the child’s moments. 

Bubba is always at your beck-and-call, getting you whatever you want or need. Snacks? Water? Foot massage? Whatever you ask for Bubba will get it for you! He’ll make sure that you're always comfortable. He grunts and nods conveying his love and concern as his way of making sure you’re alright. 

Drayton sees the pregnancy as an opportunity to expand the Sawyer family and continue the family legacy. He’s eager to welcome another member into the fold and spoils you with his cooking a lot. You gotta feed the baby, even before it’s born, so it becomes big and strong. 

Nubbins is ecstatic about becoming an uncle. He’ll get in your face and bombard you with questions about the baby names and nursery decorations, his enthusiasm is infectious. He’ll even help decorate the baby’s room too!

ChopTop, in his usual eccentric manner, jokes about being your baby’s quirky uncle. He’ll pepper you with offbeat parenting advice, much to you and Bubba’s amusement. Don’t even listen to him. He doesn’t even know what the heck he’s talking about. 

Grandpa Sawyer, though most of the time silent, will offer you quiet words of wisdom and true parenting advice (not any of ChopTop’s bullshit), imparting lessons learned from generations of Sawyers. 

Despite their unconventional lifestyle, the Sawyer family works to create a nurturing environment for you and the unborn child. They all eagerly await the new addition and with their help you and Bubba prepare for parenthood. 

The family loves to shower you with gifts for the baby, each item reflecting each family member's unique personalities and interests. Some of them are “interesting” if I do say so myself. What I mean by that is that you are really questioning about keeping some of the gifts, especially the ones from Nubbins and ChopTop. However, you do get gifts such as handmade toys and small clothes for the baby.  

You and Bubba will bond over the anticipation of parenthood. Y’all discuss a lot about y’all’s hopes and dreams for y’all’s child as y’all lay in bed, drifting off to sleep. Y’all share your dreams about being future parents, envisioning a life filled with love and laughter even though y’all don’t have the best or the brightest life (if you know what I mean since the Sawyers are technically cannibals that are always on the run).

Y’all would also bond over preparing the nursery for the baby’s arrival. You would put up the decorations, since it’s the easiest thing to do, and Bubba will try his best to create a crib. He’s not the best at carpentry, but he knows enough to get by and make a decent and stable one. 

As y’all wait for the baby’s arrival, you and Bubba embark on a new chapter together. Despite the uncertainty of y’all’s circumstances, you both find solace in the bond y’all share and the love that binds y’all together to y’all’s peculiar family.

Aaric Graycastle x reader part two of Aaric and Sunny's story words: 1.7k 🏷: set during Iron Flame but no real spoilers. canon-typical sparring. very vague mentions of injury (a bruise and a bandage.) more of Sunny's backstory perhaps.. I promise these titles will start getting more creative after this. this one's technically a double meaning -- assessment day for Emeterrio's class, and our bbs slowly starting to figure each other out.

You consider yourself excellent at reading people, a skill you’d honed in your years of working in a tavern in Calldyr city. It made long shifts more bearable, and earned you better tips — you knew exactly how to talk to each kind of person who walked in, what to do and say to make them like you, to think you were just like them.

All you need to do is look at someone for a minute, watch them and listen to them speak, and you can gather everything you need to know about them -- where they’re from, and what their deal is.

It didn’t take long for you to figure out your entire squad.

Rhiannon, the squad leader, is the responsible, motherly one, but she’s still fierce, and has something to prove. She wants your squad to be the best it can be, and has her sights set on being a wingleader next year. 

Ridoc is the class clown who is almost never serious, but cares for his friends deeply and won’t hesitate to fight for them. He’s smarter than he lets on, and a good fighter, even though he’s smaller than some of the other guys — which isn’t saying much, because they’re all giant — but maybe you could learn a thing or two from watching him.

Sawyer, Rhiannon’s second in command and Ridoc’s best friend, who balances him out with logic and restraint, but is definitely still frequently dragged into his shenanigans — though he takes his role seriously, feeling the need to prove himself to the world.

Violet, the daughter of two generals, who was expected to follow in their footsteps despite her medical condition, incredibly smart and observant, and not to be underestimated despite her small stature. 

Sloane, who was forced to be here because of the Treaty of Aretia, as her parents were accused of treason, holds a grudge against Violet for her unclear role in the death of her brother, but seems to respect Imogen enough not to kill the girl.

Imogen, the unaffected cool-girl, was also forced to be here, but she seems to have taken it in stride. She’s clearly not afraid of anything — not to stand out, with her pastel pink hair, nor to provoke anyone, being a skilled fighter both with words and hand-to-hand.

Nadine fits into a similar category with her dark purple hair and her unrestrained laughter. She seems less serious than the others, not at all worried, but it remains unclear if that’s because she’s overconfident or underestimating the challenges that second year will bring her.

…. and then there’s Aaric. You find yourself watching him for confirmation of what you’re supposed to be doing, but also out of sheer curiosity, because you just can’t figure him out. He doesn’t fit in any box you’d sorted the others into. He’s quiet, but not because he’s shy like Sawyer. Serious, but not the rigid soldier that Dain is. There’s just something about him that you just can’t put a name to, some quality you can’t quite describe.

He doesn’t look tired at breakfast, so he’d probably heeded the wingleader’s advice to sleep early — and he must not have stayed awake all night worrying about being killed.

You’d tossed and turned, but you’d been comforted by the theoretical safety of your top bunk, a good five feet above anyone, in a corner where you can see the whole room, and your two knives — one under your pillow, one clutched in your hand like a child would a stuffed animal. 

You wear one on each hip now, tucked into the belt loops of your pants. You should really get one of those leather rigs that the second-years have to hold them in a better position. They look much more secure, and more comfortable. Maybe you can invest your last bit of coin in a card game and make enough to buy one in town. Or maybe they’re issued to everyone later in the year — most of the older cadets have something similar.

You’d been one of the first ones awake, re-wrapping your bandage and changing clothes quietly, brushing your teeth before everyone else woke up and wanted to use the bathroom.

You learn these things quickly when you live with half a dozen other girls. 

Sloane had been slower to get ready, but you’d waited for her, lingering by your bunk and giving her a nervous half-smile — silently asking if she wanted to walk together. She’d agreed, falling into step beside you out to the morning formation.

It’s easy to spot where you’re supposed to be — look for the pink, purple, and silver heads. 

Imogen looks relieved to see Sloane in one piece — then she turns to you, looking unamused. “What are you so happy about?” she asks, raising a dark eyebrow. 

You know they won’t really understand, but you tell them anyway. “I woke up this morning in a bed of my own, looking at a roof over my head, with clothes on my back that I didn’t have to steal.”

Both of them soften, realizing just how differently you’d grown up. Their childhoods and teenage years may not have been the happiest, but they were safe, and didn’t have to worry about where their next meal would come from or where they’d sleep that night.

Aaric hadn’t realized that the service could be an escape for some people, rather than a death sentence or an act of patriotism or a moral obligation. Whatever you’d faced in the city had outweighed the possibility of dying in battle — despite being incredibly underprepared, you’re the one of the three of them that wants to be there the most. 

He has several questions, none of which he can ask without giving away his little ruse — and it’s been less than twenty-four hours since you’d all crossed the parapet. But still, he wonders about you. What’s your story? Where had you lived in Calldyr City? How many miles from the castle? Had your paths ever crossed? 

For a moment, anger roils through him. He’s aware of the disparities within his father’s kingdom, the way the other half — the other nine tenths, more like — lives, but to hear you speak of it so candidly… it’s clear you’ve never known anything other than struggling to make ends meet. 

Just another item on the laundry list of issues that your dear king is so content to ignore.

“I’m sorry,” he says finally, as if he is at fault for your situation, as if he had been the one to deal you those cards — but is he not implicated in your suffering? He’s certainly complicit, passive, letting it happen.

Not that his father would listen to him if he asked him to do anything about it.

You give him a reassuring smile — you know from experience that talking about your life tends to make people uncomfortable. “Don’t be. I feel richer than the king.”

That makes him feel worse, actually.

“Bell, and Hannigan,” the professor calls, already looking and sounding bored. If everyone in the quadrant has to do one this week, that must be at least two hundred. You wonder how many have already occurred, and how many more he has to go. 

And what are they going to do with this information? Rank you somehow, for sure. Maybe they’ll split you into groups based on skill level? No, they probably aren’t that nice. Everyone has made it sound like it’s kill-or-be-killed here, literally. They probably aren’t offering any remedial courses.

You recognize the other first-year girl. She was one of the few who were up and moving before the wake-up call.

You give a nervous smile as you step onto the mat. She doesn’t return it. Either she doesn’t remember you, or she doesn’t want to acknowledge that her bed is less than fifteen feet away from yours.

Maybe this place is just like Calldyr city. The school may as well be a city of its own, with its size and population, and the way nobody here seems to care about each other, or be friendly at all — friendliness and trust would get you robbed in the nicer parts of the city, or maybe even killed in the “bad parts”, but you’d survived there your whole life.

You’ll have to do the cold-and-distant thing, you suppose. It would be nice to have friends, a group of people you can trust like Violet does, but you’ve done everything for yourself for years. You can keep doing that.

She isn’t too much bigger than you, but she looks like she knows what she’s doing, and that she’s confident she’ll win. She should be — you haven’t had anyone to practice with, lest it give away your plans. All you know is what you’ve seen from watching the drunks in the slums swing at each other, and they’re not very good examples. 

She lunges quickly, but you slip aside with ease. 

You duck a would-be punch to the jaw, attempting to kick her legs out from underneath her, but her boots are planted to the floor — it only irritates her and probably bruises her left shin.

No time to feel bad about it; she’s pushing forward again. She’s determined, you’ll give her that. 

It becomes clear that your duck-and-dodge strategy is effective in keeping yourself unscathed, but it won’t win you this fight.

You attempt a punch like hers, unsuccessfully; she catches your wrist and uses it to leverage you to the floor, where she presses you into the mat, wrenching one arm behind your back and using her weight to keep you down. You struggle for a moment before realizing she has you pinned too well. “I yield.”

“Hannigan wins,” Emeterrio announces monotonously, writing it down.

She lets go, but doesn’t offer you an apology nor help you up. Cold and distant it is, then — with everybody but your squad, who are supposedly not allowed to hurt you.

You’re three steps away from falling back into your place beside Sloane when you hear a crack and a scream.

Then all hell breaks loose in your corner of the gym.

♡ Seeing your tears, Bubba will be beside himself with worry. A man will immediately rush to you, wrapping his sweaty palms around your cheeks with excitement. Jerky sounds will come out of his mouth, more like meowing or babbling of a child, but you clearly see fear in this.

The living room of the temporary house you were sharing with Bucky was filled with the scent of burgers and fries, the television was on but the volume was down. You sat on the edge of the couch, absently picking at your food as your mind inevitably drifted back to your argument with Bucky just last night. He didn’t even spare a glance in your direction after you stormed out of the room, not that you made any effort to talk to him.

Across from you and Bucky, Sam and Dean lounged in their armchairs, their exhaustion evident in the bags under their eyes. As if they didn’t sleep at all, much like you. There was nothing but silence as you ate the last meal of the day, tired after a day of working on the case just to get nothing. No lead, no idea on where this Adam lived since he was the only hope to know more about Cassandra’s whereabouts before she disappeared.

You, along with the rest of this weird team, had gone to the hospital where Cassandra worked at and asked questions to her colleagues that were as useless as a fish out of the water. Apparently this Cassandra was not keen to have social relationships outside her family, you had learnt.

Family that consisted in her stepmother and biological father. Mrs Miller was… well, you had already met her. Her father, on the other hand, was not in the picture apparently. No one knew shit about that poor woman’s private life and the only resource you had left was Adam - and you hadn’t found where he lived yet.

You and Dean, in all of this, hadn’t had that talk yet. About why he didn’t tell Bucky the truth on what you two had seen at Mrs Miller’s house and, most importantly, why he didn’t seem fazed about it. You never told anyone about the kind of experiments they did in the Hydra base you were raised at, not even Fury. You couldn’t, and for a long time you tried to forget what you had seen with your own eyes.

After you were rescued you figured they’d eventually find out the monsters that were created in there, but you never heard anyone talk about it so you kept your mouth shut. They had told you they rescued every child, teenage and adult Hydra kidnapped and that’s what mattered the most to you. Those things were creatures to forget, but you saw one again. And not in your old Hydra facility. No.

You saw it through the window of Mrs Miller’s house, and a small part of you suspected that Cassandra wasn’t fully dead. You were starting to think she had turned into one of those things and that only meant Hydra was nearer than you thought, but Mrs Miller was nowhere near being the person behind this and she was too far gone mentally to give you a clue about who this person could be.

And you came to the conclusion you wanted to find out yourself. Alone.

You decided you wouldn’t tell Bucky, nor Sam or Dean. You suspected that the brothers knew something already and that meant they purposely kept things from you and Bucky, maybe even Fury. Or maybe Fury himself was involved but then again, why wouldn’t he tell you? You were confused, angry and tired of this whole situation.

“Did you find something?” Dean asked with his mouth full of fries to his brother who was giving him a disgusted look. “What? We’re all friends now, no need for manners.” He shrugged.

“If you ever had any.” Sam mumbled under his breath, before turning the laptop to the general direction where both you and Bucky - and also Dean - could see. “This is a local article about Cassandra’s father, Michael Sawyer. It says he was a successful scientist until he disappeared in 1996 when the outcome of his infidelity was left on his doorstep. Cassandra’s biological mother was never found, not even to this day. Mrs Miller kicked him out and took the child in, raising Cassandra as her own.”

“He suddenly came back in town in 2013, the news spread all over the State. Mrs Miller took him back almost immediately, people believe because she was having financial problems raising her then 17 years old daughter, and he has been nothing but a lovely father and husband ever since.” Sam finished, looking at each of you in the room.

“Where is he now?” Bucky asked, taking a sip from the bottle of beer in his hand - the only thing he touched the whole night, since the burger was still perfectly wrapped.

“No idea.” Sam turned the laptop screen in his direction once again, typing something down. “No news from him ever since Cassandra disappeared. Do you think he could be involved?”

“Could be.” Dean shrugged. “It definitely sounds suspicious.”

“He came back when my facility fell, in 2013.” You informed them. “But that could be a coincidence, I believe the only one that can know something about that family is Adam, since he was her boyfriend. Did you find anything about him?” You asked.

“No.” Sam sighed. “I might do a few calls though, see if a friend of mine can track him down.”

“If you’re still hoping for Cas to answer you’re an idiot, Sam.” Dean grunted, glaring at his brother.

“Who’s Cas?” Bucky inquired, looking between the two of them. “This case is ours. We can’t spill details to friends, that’s the first thing they teach at SHIELD.”

“We know, my brother was just being dumb.” Dean got up from his armchair, putting on his usual green leather jacket. “Let’s go, it’s late and we need rest.” Dean seemed quite dismissive, as he took his brother by the jacked and forced him to get up.

Bucky watched as Dean practically dragged Sam to his feet, a frown made it’s way to his face at the fastness of their departure. Bucky’s gaze flickered to yours for a moment and you shrugged at him, just as puzzled at the brothers’s behavior as he was.

As the door closed behind the two, Bucky turned his his head towards you once again, a furrow forming between his brows. “I think we should do a background check on them. There’s something they’re hiding.”

“You always seem to think people are hiding something and can’t be trusted. We don’t have time for that.” You retorted, your tone full of irritation. “We have a case to solve, James, we can’t worry about those two. Fury says they’re good, so they’re good.” You said. Even if you did agree with him, you also were sure - for some reason - that they weren’t a threat.

His jaw tightened at your words, but he didn’t back down. “I’m just saying we should be cautious.” He insisted.

“And I’m saying we have more important things to worry about.” You said.

With that, you rose from the couch to clear the coffee table where the four of you had dinner on, and you could feel Bucky’s eyes on you. Your heard him sigh before he left the room and went into the kitchen, only to come back with an empty trash bag and start helping you out.

“Can we talk for a moment? About the other night?” He asked after a while, breaking the silence as you both finished cleaning the mess that mainly those two had left behind.

“I’m not in the mood for talking.” You mumbled, turning off the lights of the kitchen. “I’m going to bed, actually, so have a good night.”

“Emma-”

You walked past him upstairs, locking your bedroom door behind you; you had something to do that night, so you pushed aside the slight, almost invisible guilt you felt for not listening to whatever Bucky had to say. Making your way to the bedside table, your reached for the drawer where you kept your gun - you could never know.

You tucked the gun into your holster and sat on your bed, it was still too early. You could hear Bucky downstairs doing God knows what, and you knew that given his enchanted hearing due to the Super Soldier serum he would hear you if you sneaked out when he was awake.

You waited patiently until the house fell quiet, and you made your way to the window. Sliding it open, making sure not to make any sound, you jumped - thankfully you had some kind of super strength yourself, so when your legs hit the ground you didn’t even flinch.

You looked around you to make sure no one saw you, after all you were still Bucky’s wife for the whole neighborhood as a cover and sneaking out in the middle of the night would look suspicious. You passed in front of Dean’s and Sam’s house, noticing the Impala wasn’t there - weird. So much for being tired and wanting some rest, as they said.

It didn’t take you long to arrive to the Miller’s house, but you had to admit that perhaps you walked slower that you normally would. You did want answers, but you also knew that they would only be a confirmation of what you suspected.

With careful precision, you scanned the perimeter of Mrs Miller’s house, hoping to find a way in without having to break anything mainly to avoid someone hearing. Someone, being that thing that Mrs Miller kept locked in a room. Thankfully you saw that a window of the ground floor was left slightly open, so you didn’t let the opportunity go to waste and you slid in with ease.

Balancing on the edge of the window frame, you put a feet on the ground inside followed by the other - you didn’t miss this place one bit. You had to squint your eyes to adjust your eyes to the sudden darkness, but you managed to see how everything was exactly how you and Dean had left it.

Taking cautious steps to avoid getting hurt due to the glass shattered on the floor, you made your way to the staircase. The silence was odd, in your opinion, the only sounds came from you as the wooden stairs cracked under your every step. Sometimes you wished you could fly, but not everyone had that fortune nowadays.

As you reached the top of the stairs, the smell that hit your nostrils was something you wished you weren’t used to. Rotten meat, that’s what it was, but you kept walking. Thankfully the moonlight was filtering through those nasty windows or else you wouldn’t be able to see your nose in there. You entered carefully in what seemed like a bedroom, a girl’s bedroom.

Cassandra’s pictures were shattered on the ground, the furniture was overturned and most of her belongings were broken on the floor. You walked further into the room and the smell got so bad that you had to cover your nose and mouth with your hand. You expected to find a cadaver inside the wardrobe once you walked over there to open it, but you let out a sigh of relief when all you found were dirty clothes and dead flies.

You scanned the room once again and your eyes fell on the ground, where a stack of paper was scattered all over the carpet. Kneeling down, you picked them up.

You couldn’t read anything as the writing seemed frenetic, and surely the poor light didn’t help. You heard a sudden sound coming from somewhere in the house, and your body reacted before your mind could; you tucked the papers in your pockets with the intention of bringing it back home and try to make light of the situation there.

You decided to keep looking for any clue that would give you some answers, and you made your way in the hallway. You kept walking cautiously and you stopped dead in your tracks when you noticed a door that was different from the others. It was made of iron and it had different locks of different sizes, clearly made to keep something inside.

Bingo.

You knew what was hiding behind that door, you had seen it from the window the other day. Before you could process how you were gonna act next, a soft, feminine voice made your blood run cold.

“Help.” It pleaded. “Please, help. I’m hungry. Open the door. I’m hungry. Please help.”

You blinked a few times, taking a few steps away from that door. You knew that whoever talked was probably Cassandra, but you also knew that she wasn’t her anymore. Those things could imitate voices to lure people. Knowing that, you didn’t even know yourself why you hesitated before leaving, all you knew is that it was probably too late as soon as you heard the sound of jiggling keys in the background accompanied by Mrs Miller’s voice.

With quick reflexes you turned to leave immediately, but the next door you approached was locked and the light was nonexistent since there wasn’t a single window in that corner of the house. You heard Mrs Miller’s steps walking closer, and you thought you were gonna be screwed soon enough…

… except that a pair of hands clamped over your mouth, shutting out any sound you could possibly make. You tried to break free but the stranger was incredibly strong, even stronger than you.

The next thing you knew, you were lifted from the ground momentarily, and then you heard the faint sound of what you associated with a trapdoor closing nearby. As soon as the little lightbulb hanging from the ceiling was turned on, you realized that if it wasn’t for your incredible self control you would have killed somebody.

Bucky Barnes was looking at you with his jaw clenched, but what caught your eyes were those two fucking idiots behind him - and Dean was giggling.

“What the fuck is going on?!” You demanded, as you saw those three fuckers looking at you. Bucky, unlike Sam and Dean, was visibly pissed.

“You’re the one asking that?” Bucky spat, as he was still gripping your wrist. “Leaving the house in the middle of the night like an idiot. What? You thought I wouldn’t hear you?”

“Wait, you came here alone?” Sam asked, looking over where you were sitting.

“Yes, I came here alo- what are we doing here? And how did you get here so quickly?”

“I followed you, you idiot.” Bucky said, his voice sharp with anger as he released his grip on your wrist. “You could have been killed down there. That lady is walking around with an axe, in case you didn’t notice!” He was angry but the sounds below made him keep his voice low - you weren’t out of danger yet.

“A what?!”

“A bloody axe.” Dean clarified, with that smug face still on.

“What are you fucking smiling about?” Bucky’s anger shifted momentarily from you to him, his eyes narrowing in frustration.

“This wasn’t in my bingo card tonight. I mean, what were the odds? First we find you, then you find her - what’s next? Us being torn apart by an hysterical lady?” Dean chuckled, but he was clearly tired.

“I wouldn’t take that out of the equation.” Sam said, leaning back on the wall as you all were sitting on the ground. “I’m too pretty to die again.”

“Why didn’t you tell me you were leaving? You could have been hurt.” Bucky turned to you again, after all you were his main concern. He was on this mission together with you and you were his teammate, not them. So it was understandable that he was worried for your safety, whether he liked you or not.

You glanced over at Dean before you sighed, finally relaxing your muscles after almost being found inside Mrs Miller’s house by Mrs Miller herself while she was walking around with a damn bloody axe. “I haven’t totally been honest with you.”

“No shit.”

“Listen, I wanted to be sure about everything before I told you.” You said exhaling. “Mrs Miller isn’t the only problem around.”

“Don’t you think I hear that fucking thing right now? It’s scratching the door, locked in the room below us.” At Bucky’s words, your eyes fell on the ground. With the silence, you heard it too.

“Then now you know what I was looking for! Stop asking stupid questions!”

“Can you guys fight another time?! Whatever problem you have with one another can wait!” Sam huffed.

“I personally have no problem at all.” You shrugged, gaining a death glare by Bucky. “Listen, I didn’t tell you not because I don’t trust you or anything, formally speaking you’re one of the best agents we have and I have to trust you for this mission.” You spoke sincerely. “But I wanted to be sure and… I know what it is. And I know it’s not going to hurt me.”

Bucky was about to say something when he was cut off. “What do you mean by that?” Dean joined the conversation, now serious, as he looked at you. “That’s a Wendigo - they hunt humans for food, Emma. Of course it’s going to hurt you.”

“What the fuck it’s a Wendigo now?” Bucky felt like smacking repeatedly his head against the wall.

“The Wendigo is a former human that turned into that thing downstairs due to cannibalism. Could live up to hundreds of years eating human meat, but the thing I don’t understand is why Cassandra became one so soon.” Dean explained, scratching his forehead in frustration.

“Which is why we came. She had to eat meat - human meat in order to transform, so someone must have been… you know… giving it to her.” Sam continued.

“Not necessarily.” You shook your head. “We suspect she was taken due to her knowledge about Hydra since probably she got too close to the truth about the patient she was treating, right? Well, you can also turn into a Wendigo through a bite or if its blood it’s mixed to yours and in that case, the transformation requires a few days if it doesn’t kill you first.”

“How do you know that?” Dean frowned.

“Hydra made me watch.” You shrugged.

“What doesn’t make sense is… we suspect she was taken, as you said, due to her finding the truth about what Hydra does to people - but they’re the ones who keep leaving corpses around so they must be the ones that want people to know. Why take her if she did what they wanted?” Sam asked

“Maybe those bodies weren’t meant for her to find” You suggested.

Bucky stayed silent for the whole conversation, processing everything he was hearing. He wasn’t even surprised, it was perfectly in line with the other atrocities Hydra did. “Are you guys sure it’s Cassandra the thing downstairs?” He didn’t question much considering that for the first time ever since he met the two brothers, he was actually believing what they were saying.

“Not really.” You answered. “But it’s a possibility. I don’t see why that woman would keep it locked in her house if that creature didn’t use to be her own daughter.”

“What do you know about the Wendigo?” Bucky narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing you. He couldn’t recall you ever mentioning such creature before. “I’ve been with Hydra for seventy years and not once did they mention anything about this. So how come you know?”

You took a moment to look at his face, before finally giving him an answer - and probably one he didn’t expect. “I am one.” You said. You couldn’t hide it any longer if you wanted to move on with the case.

You’d think someone like Michael would give less of a shit about the holidays, but now that he has a partner he seems to care at least a little bit about ones outside of Halloween.

He’s not gonna put on a big show, but he will appear from the hallway with blood on one arm, damn near past his elbow. Attached to his hand is a big bloody heart, how sweet.

He grabs your hands and wraps them around it, the bundle of red warmth still pulsing faintly in your grip. He squeezes them, his hands against yours. There’s a bloody mess on the floor now, but you know better to complain about such a thoughtful gift.

He stalked the biggest toughest guy he could find just to be sure the heart would be huge, and then he took it for his lover. Try putting it in a jar with some celsior if you don’t want it to spoil, maybe decorate it with some stickers and fake flowers. He’d be more than happy to work on some diy decorations for the container.

He doesn’t expect anything from you, but any gifts received will be cherished and promptly stored in his room as either a decoration or in the droor he has especially for you.

You’d have to remind him of the day, he doesn’t really bother to count them to be quite honest.

I’m not sure he even knows what Valentine’s Day is, as he never really got to experience the holiday as a child. None of the other kids would give him candy and it’s more likely that his mother would keep him in the house for the day to spare him the embarrassment and humiliation.

Buuut upon hearing your explanation of the day he immediately gets up and marches off to go find you the prettiest forest flowers and the tastiest edible berries he can find!

If you get lucky and have some campers on that day he’ll slay them for their chocolate and steal anything red, white, or pink in your honor.

If you get him a gift he’ll be over the moon, picking you up and spinning you around, fawning over it all day and generally slacking on his usual duties of maintaining the camp. As long as he isn’t ignoring anything too pressing, let him have his moment and enjoy whatever you gave him.

Luda Mae is sure to remind the two of you as the days draw closer, since there’s actually a couple in the house to celebrate it for.

Normally she’d glance at the calendar and sigh as she marked the day off, shaking her head in disappointment that none of her boys found someone yet… Then you came along, and she’s probably happier about the holiday then you and Tommy are!

She even gets the neighbors to come over and celebrate, they throw the most glorious tea party! Luda and the tea lady do most of the baking while Henrietta prepares the tea, chatting on about the leaves she’s using and how lovely a couple you and Tommy are… Of course Charlie is none too pleased, but when is he ever?

Away from it all, Tommy presents you with a thoughtful gift he’s been working on for a while. In his basement resides a romantic bone sculpture of two figures kissing, one resembling him and the other resembling you. It’s made out of bones both big and small, and isn’t entirely complete yet.

It’s no Sinclair masterpiece but you’d be remiss to not appreciate his craftsmanship, he must have spent ages scavenging and collecting all of the pieces for that.

He pretends like he isn’t expecting anything from you, but a little part of him hopes you made something for him. Even if it’s something small he’d love it, keeping it in his room at all times so that he can look at it when he needs to calm down.

Sadly the fanfare in the Hewitt household is virtually nonexistent with this particular iteration of the slaughter family.

You and Bubs hardly get the chance to kiss without Drayton waving his broomstick around like a madman, warding him away from you and telling y’all to get back to work.

But when you two finally get some alone time, he gives you the gift he’s been hiding for a while now.

You go at it in a ridiculously tacky bedroom, a California king sized bed with red and green striped covers and a steel spiked bed frame is what he throws you onto before pouncing.

His loony ass literally jumps out of his clothes like a cartoon character, all while you’re cutely splayed out on the covers wearing some garish lingerie of his choice. The sex makes it worth it though, and by the time you wake up you’re covered in new scratches and bruises thanks to him.

Billy Loomis

Of course this greasy boy takes part in the holiday, it’s a one way ticket to getting laid after all.

He pulls out all the stops, slicks his hair back and wears a nice outfit, brings you a generously large teddy bear that has a hard time fitting in your locker, and of course he doesn’t forget the chocolates.

If you don’t really like the showy stuff then don’t worry, he wrote you a creepy lovely poem for the occasion. He makes a bunch of horror movie references in it, and asks you to be his final girl/boy/enby at the end of it.

He lays it on thick with the romance today, wants you to feel nice and loved before he tries to break your bed frame again.

If you have the time after school, he’ll invite you out on a double date with Stu. He pays for the meal and all that, and is notably less irritable than usual.

Pray that one of your parents is on vacation right now, because if he doesn’t at least get a quickie before the day is out he’s gonna be a horn dog for the rest of the week and you are not going into the school bathroom again.

Stu Macher

He makes a whole show of acting shy around you, batting his eyes and giggling like a maniac every time you look his way.

When he finally works up the courage to ask you out he does it as annoyingly as possible, hands behind his back while he sways side to side… “Will you be my Valentine?” He asks as he flutters his blonde lashes, extending one of those holographic puppy cards to you alongside a handful of your favorite candy. You’d be a fool to say no.

He jumps for joy and glomps you, but he’s so lanky that he can barely topple Sidney over.

Most of the fun happens after school, he wants to do just about everything with you and snag a bunch of couple’s discounts wherever he can.

You end the day with a double date, you and Stu go with Billy and Sidney to a nice restaurant after a day of running around a boardwalk and going on all the rides.

He’s not as desperate for sex as Billy is, but if you happen to drag him away or ask to spend the night he’ll be grinning like an idiot whilst giving the rest of the group a big thumbs up.

Bo Sinclair

He is oblivious to the day’s arrival, since in the years before he met you it was all but remembered.

He wakes up next to you and he is happy. He kisses you while you sleep, chuckling at the way you stir before getting out of bed and into his work clothes. He marks off a day on his calendar and… What does that tiny text say..?

Suddenly he’s hopping in his truck and going out of town in the early hours of the morning, scouring the nearby shops for something nice.

He comes back home as though nothing happened, but he does happen to hide the gifts in his closet.

When he sees you next he acts oblivious, like he doesn’t know what day it is (even though he didn’t this morning). He toys with you even if you got him a gift, apologizing for not remembering and promising to do better next time until bam! At 8pm he pops open a glass of champagne and asks if you really fell for it.

He brings back some real expensive sweets, flowers, and some undergarments he’d like to see you in, typical Bo always thinking of himself in some way.

He’d love to see you in it tonight, and he plans to sweet talk you if you’re still mad at him for playing dumb earlier.

Vincent Sinclair

I think out of everyone he’d be the most grandiose gifter. He is quite talented in the arts department, and he probably makes you so many little gifts already that he’d feel the need to really make you something swell.

Inspiration strikes when he sees you playing around with the little statues he made you, and so he gets to work on his most important project yet… A dollhouse.

Making wax sculptures out of humans is no easy task, but making a miniature recreation of a house, furniture, and people isn’t either.

It just appears in your room out of the blue, all of the furniture neatly organized and little figures of you alongside any friends you may have had scattered across the mansion doing various tasks. Him and his brothers are there too, with Lester washing his hands in the sink, Vincent himself in the basement toiling away, and Bo sitting on his La-Z-Boy reading the papers.

You wait patiently for him to finish his work in the basement before you overwhelm him with your affection, the sturdy wax of his mask melting more and more with each kiss.

He doesn’t feel like he deserves anything in return, but he might just cry if you try and make anything out of wax for him.

Lester Sinclair

He hears about it on the radio while he’s driving his truck, scouring the road for any fresh meat.

The disc jockey smoothly announces the day’s date and informs listeners that the station will be playing love songs the entire day, imploring the audience to send their requests in.

He thinks about what he ought to do for you. Bo would surely scold him for going out of town unannounced and using his money for frivolities like chocolates and teddy bears, so he decides he should hand-make something for you.

With some difficulty, he manages to fashion a heart shaped backpack out of animal skin for you. Vincent had to lend a hand for a lot of the measuring process and zipper installation, but it was pretty obvious who gathered all the… Ingredients.

Really, all he wants is some recognition and affection. He’s not often recognized for his talents as the youngest brother, and a valentine who gives him the praise he deserves is all he could really ask for.

Well this was an incredibly stupid decision on their part

Billy is immediately in a rage when he sees you're gone

He has a mental breakdown when he sees that you're gone

Goes into a fit of hysterical laughter as he reaches for his knife

When he hears a scream echo not too far from where he was searching, he sprints to it

And when he sees you being held by some random person, Stu's crazed smile finally drops

He lunges, and things go out of control

The attackers come running towards him, but he was quick to act

You awoke to a bloody mess beside you and a worried Vincent knelt in front of you

He rests his hands on your stomach and you nod, letting him know you and the baby are okay

He's content with this and wraps you in his arms to take you back home

Bo Sinclair

If he can't have you, no one can

When he's sees you're gone, he assumes you left just like he knew you were going to try

He hunts you down immediately, ready to do what needed to be done, only to see you scared and tied up

Oh, now Bo can't help the growing smile on his face

You didn't want to leave him, and now he can have fun with whoever was stupid enough to do this

Will knock them unconscious and take you both home

He'll make their death a long and painful one

He of course checks Ambrose first, and he considers himself lucky to have found you as soon as he did

His adrenaline kicks in and it doesn't take long before he kills the kidnapper, suffocating them to death

You and Ben decided that with all the vampires and monsters running amuck all over the lot, you guys would need to form a coven of monster hunters

Everybody pulled their money together and decided that after you guys got back from your honeymoon, they'd buy the house

You and Ben spent a full week up in Boothbay Harbor after you got married and by the time you got back, the guys had already bought the house

But ya'll were NOT expecting the house to be a giant fixer-upper

The first clues should have been all the memes that Matt Burke and Mike Ryerson were sending you guys, joking about how the rats were bigger than their heads, the stacks of leftover porn in the closets, the weird tentacled creature coming out of the toilet (no seriously, Father Callahan ran out of the house one day yelling about how the toilet needed an exorcism)

It took you guys until the beginning of September to be able to fix that place up. Whoever said fixing a gigantic Victorian house at the end of the street would be easy was a dirty liar

You and Ben moved in first as soon as it was done. You guys had officially adopted Mark Petrie and Randy McDougal the week before so they already had their rooms ready. Mark literally has shelf after shelf in his room filled with books. Randy was only two months old when he was taken away from his birth parents and placed with you and Ben, but Mark loves having him for a little brother (Randy's nursery was in one of the rooms that had no windows just for safety reasons)

Father Callahan moved in some weeks later. He was still the priest at St. Andrew's but Mrs. Curless was driving him nuts and he didn't wanna deal with it anymore. He's awesome around the house but under no circumstances is this man allowed to make a Manhattan while he's cooking dinner

Matt Burke was the next familiar face to move in. He just randomly showed up one day with milk crates full of books, cassette tapes and rock n' roll records

Mike Ryerson moved in after his asshat of a landlord jilted him on his rent. His first words as he walked in the door were "he asks me for rent one more time and my foot's going inside him!!!" (lol)

Jimmy and Jennifer Cody moved in not even a week after Mike. The hospital had to cut a bunch of people's pay but they were more than happy to pay whatever they could for rent, but you and Ben wouldn't have it

Bonnie Sawyer and Corey Bryant were next. Reggie had gotten arrested and had to sign the divorce papers while he was serving his jail sentence, leaving Corey and Bonney to be together. Mabel Wertz, Nolly Gardiner and Parking Gillespie were the last three to move in

You guys will all team up together and go out on late night hunts on the weekends. As soon as Mark's done with his homework, you guys will gear up and head out into the woods. Ben will carry Randy on his back and everybody has a cooler bag with their dinner in it

There was a huge, hairy creature living in the woods that was attracted to loud noises so any opportunity to attract it, the guys took it. You guys all sang along to "No Diggity" by Blackstreet (damn Father Callahan and Ben can both rap like CRAZY) and the creature came loafing right out of the trees. Don't worry, he's friendly
